Static:The Movie

I hope somebody cares to do this. I want to see who yall would cast in a movie about static. keep in mind that the characters in the comic books were completely different from the cartoon, so make sure you know which direction you're going with it. Here's my cast

Donald Glover II as Virgil Hawkins/Static

hopefully his costume will be something different from anything we've ever seen.
Kellita Smith as Jean Hawkins

couldnt find any good pictures of jean

Gary Dourdan as Robert Hawkins

Angell Conwell as Sharon Hawkins

Peyton list as Frieda Goren

and Jessica Lucas as Daisy Watkins

I havent found anybody for larry, rick, felix, or chuck yet but i'll figure it out soon.

Well you see, this forum is for discussing DC comic books. There is another forum specified for discussing movies based off of DC comics. I was asking Corp and Drak, two moderators, to move your thread to keep things running smoothly, but apparently the two of them are on a smoke break.

yeah, i know. but most of the people were making suggestion for virgil only. i just wanna see suggestions for a full cast. i guess it doesnt matter now cause nobody's posting.

a static movie wouldnt exactly be shakespeare. i think he has the right swag to pull it off, and plus his role in community is easier to take seriously. but that doesnt matter to me, i just wanna see who you would cast.

that sounds ridiculous, and its a mouthful. static makes perfect since and it short and simple. not only that but it completely matches the characters personallity. and there have been way worst names than static like "the thing" for example(which also makes good sense). static is the best name for him i think its cool.

no its static, the show was called static shock but even in the cartoon nobody ever called him stat shock, now that would sound lame. i really hate it when everybody keeps callin him that and thats not even his name.

Why not have Corbin Blu play Virgil Hawkins. He is a pretty good actor who has swagger.

cause corbin bleu has white boy swagg, and i hav very little respect for him as an actor. not a bad idea though, keep em comin. i wanna see some more of the cast try to read about the other aspects of each character.
