Besides Supes, Bats & WW. What is the status of ALL DC properties that might come to film or tv? For example Flash (And also casting Ryan Reynolds as Flash) and even characters like Zatanna (whom someone mentioned might be coming to tv. Remember this is for status of actual projects..Not what we want.

Thanks!

Good stuff, hippie.

Among others listed, I'd love to see a Watchmen and Shazam project.

What about the Green Lantern movie? I hear that might be coming out in 2009 and that a script featuring Hal Jordan and Senestro was greenlighted recently.

:wow: :cmad:

Last I heard about GL they were going the comedic route w/Jack Black as the star.

I refuse to believe they're actually considering that (and yes, I saw that horrid script review). I don't care if they want to do a Jack Black comedy/superhero vehicle. That's fine, but for the love of Bill Finger, don't call it Green Lantern! That property is practically begging for a serious, kickass, sci-fi treatment. :gl:

Warner Bros. wants to make it and they offered David Goyer to choose between Green Lantern or the Flash. Obviously he chose the Flash.

Ron, according to a Kelvin Chavez interview with Paul Levitz back in June of this year, there have been a lot of discussions on "Green Lantern" but not a definite plan. I take this to mean that the WB and DC are thinking about it but are not quite sure which way to go with it. Another thing that Levitz said in the interview was that making comic book films nowadays (over at the WB) is artistically very dificult due in part to the fact that no one (the studio, producers, or the fans) wants them to go wrong. He mentions that there is about a ten year hiatus/development period between franchise cycles (for example, 10 years between the Tim Burton and Cristopher Nolan Batman franchises). If that is the case then I wouldn't expect to see a Green Lantern film to be released until the next decade since rumors bout it started some time after the year 2000.

I want to see a Black Lightning film-- they could do it for a smaller budget than average..

I don't like his name. Sounds like something from a Dolemite move or something.

I would kill to see a Green Arrow film with an independet film style approach.
