WhooHOOOOOOOOOOO!! looks like all my Steel Spider/Frog-Man harping has finally paid off. Check out this cover for TB#113.

Of course, Ellis will probably kill him off, but at this point I don't care!!!

YAY!

Now bring back Frog-Man, and 2007 will be my new favorite year.

Oh I'm sorry, that's not steel spider.

That's Danny Rand dressed as Steel Spider.

He's a kid who once worshiped Doc Ock and tried to emulate him with mechanical arms. Spider-man caught him but didn't turn him over to the police, after that the kid worship spiderman, and converted his arms to Spider arms when he failed to create his own web fluid. He later tried to be Spidey's side kick, competing with Frog-Man and the Toad, but eventually they formed their own group called the misfits. I'm not sure when he became the Steel-Spider, but he's majorly obscure at this point.

He's still cooler than Paste Pot Pete and his Bucket'O'Spooge(TM)

And doe's anyone think that all the E list characters being revived for New Thunderbolts aren't going to die horribly? :whatever:

None of them will die as horribly as he will.

I dont think every vigilante that the Thunderbolts go after will die. They are truly villians but they are working for the government, not to mention the nanites in the blood, and eventhough Songbird, R-Man, and Swordsman where at one time villians, I dont think they would let the real bad guys kill anybody. So I dont think Jack Flag or Steel Spider will die, atleast not on purpose.

Does anybody think that the reason the Thunderbolts are going after d-listers like Steel Spider and Jack Flag are so they can draw out people like Spider-Man (Steel Spider) and Captain America (Jack Flag)

What exactly is Forbrush Man's powers?

He is the weilder of the almighty No-Power, which aparantly is the power to have no powers at all. But, he has no powers at all better than everyone else. However, his recent apearance in Nextwave suggests that the No-Power enables him to trap people's minds in nightmarings pardoies of their own lives. But then Nextwave's cannonocity is VERY questionable.

What's there to question???

Nextwave was such garbage that it should have never seen print... it's only purpose was to inflate Ellis' ego and make a few nerdy fanboys gurggle in gay delight.

:whatever: :whatever: :whatever:

Yea I dont know how canon Nextwave is, but they have appeared in Civil War on Cap's side, so I think Nextwave is somewhat Canon.

Wow, not only have I never heard that opinion from you ever, but that has so much to do with the topic at hand.

In all seriousness, we weren't debating Nextwave's quality. Hell, we weren't even really debating wether it was cannon or not. I simply cited one example of Irving using some kind of power and then said that it's not entirely clear wether that instance is cannon or not.

And I was just stating that I think it is somewhat canon, due to there cameo appearance in CW.

He's going to die, Flags gonna die, pretty much everyone who shows up is gonna die. You don't have friggin Bullseye, Venom and Greenie on a team without a noticiable amount of homicide.

Too bad: I kind of liked Ollie the Octo Kid :csad:

I'll gentlemens bet you that Jack Flag will not die, either will Steel Spider.

If Jack Flag is on the cover of 111 and Steel Spider is on the cover of 113 who is on the cover of 112?

Two enjoyable F-Listers just waiting for a moment of glory, a placement on a good team, a writer who appreciates them.

And they won't get it. I'll call it now.

The most they can hope for is putting up a worthy struggle before they are defeated, sacrifice themselves, or are murdered. Like Prodigy. Had a nice moment inciting Iron Man. But now he is in jail, where he will remain right next to Coldblood-7 and Bravestar, at least for another 5 years of limbo. CIVIL WAR is good because it brings up everyone from the woodwork. It is bad because many times this is done to beat the crap out of them, kill them, or jail them. So the next time some asks, "Hey, what happened to Steel Spider?" there is a better answer than, "After Onslaught, limbo for about 8-9 years". Now you can say, "Was crippled by Venom, now in Pen."
