The Dark Knight Step Right Up / End of Jokers Interview

it's frustrating not knowing what the deal is with those phones...

I think the cake thing is the coolest part of the viral campaign so far. But I guess only those who live in major cities get the perks.

I have a weird feeling something is coming at noon! prob not though. Probably not until thursday.

lol well its noon now!!!!

and yea im guessing tomm since thats when the screenings in the IMAX are

That kinda pisses me off, ya know? Only those geographically lucky are getting the good stuff. Cakes, phones, masks, cards...I mean, did they honestly not think that some of us are willing to do these things and NOT live in huge cities?

No, I'm not asing them to put cakes out in the boonies or anything, but some love to those of us who live a minimum of 6 hours away from anything in this viral marketing would be lovely. I've been trying to crack all this since "See you in December" came about months ago, and all I got is newspapers. There are some folks out there who've got masks, face paint, cards, cakes, papers, phones, everything...

Not really much personal incintive to keep going, ya know?

There is one problem about all of this... Nobody is thinking outside the box! Yes we all know that there is something going on at IMAX, but we have no real idea what. We have our speculations, but no proof of anything. Think about this. Yes it is possible that the first minutes will be shown, that is obviously a huge possibility, but just because there is a movie being played a half hour after the meeting does not guarantee that is it. For instance, after the viewing, who says there won't be a redirecting of people to somewhere else? Nothing says that there can't be a scavenger hunt at this location. Also, clues could be given from the joker or something to continue the hunt. We all know the viral sites aren't done. Finally, with the phones. Nobody can tell me that they thought there would be a call right away. It has been months to get what we have and the games won't be over that quickly...

Looks like SaintSinnerX has been right so far.

He said we would get a bunch of games and hunts new pictures, a teaser poster and a trailer (The trailer has yet to come, but I think it will be here soon)

So Everyone? Is Friday the prologue screening? And if it is, what else are people expecting, because I KNOW it can't just be a frickin prologue...no way...impossible...

There has to be more to it, no way they are going to make people drive to a local theatre for 7 minutes lol.

--dk7

But they'll make people drive all over the place to these bakeries for a teaser poster?

Definitely disappointed with the limited number of IMAX theaters being used. I mean from the beginning there have been people working on this massive hunt across the country, in Canada, the UK, Germany, New Zealand and Australia, that I can confirm. There are probably more. It's too bad that there wasn't something for the rest of the geographically challenged.

Oh, WELL next week we get the prologue...or at least I think we do.

If its true that the prologue is going to be at 'select' IMAX theatres, is there a way to find out if the one nearest you will be playing the prologue? Or is it just going to be - "gotta go to find out, or wait."

I really think you'll just have to call the theater you're planning on going to. They'll be able to tell you when the 'Legend' film reel comes in whether the prologue is attached. They have to at least be showing 'I Am Legend' to even have a shot at them carrying the prologue footage.

too true! sucks living in England sometimes...well okay ALOT of times

You're probably right... I'm curious to see if anyone is able to record it on site. They seem to stress pretty hard that no recorders or camera phones of any kind will be allowed in the theater. It sounds like they'll be checking hard.

As I've said before, one of the people who got the cakes and the Joker Phones should take that phone into the screening of the prologue. WB can't take those away, right?

:hoboj: HAHAHAHAHA!

Chicago here...got a phone call...unfortunately it was from someone trying to sell me a car. They asked for a specific name. I wasn't sure if anyone experienced this and maybe I just missed my chance at the Joker selling me a car. I'm confused. Maybe they it was a wrong number or maybe they misdialed...I don't know.

The last thing I want is to be watching the leaked prologue on line and see some guys head as he gets up to take a leak because it's some cheap camera job bootleg.I always feel weird like I'm watching a peep show when I see those things. If it gets leaked on line it has to be a direct print or I don't want to bother.Chris Nolan filmed it in I-max for cryin out loud.He didnt intend it to be seen online by someone who filmed it with a pair of camera equipped glasses.Listening to the description by Latino Review makes me wonder if this is the final edit of the first 5 minutes. They said the soundtrack music was some kinda Mission Impossible type theme-not Hans Zimmer which makes me wonder if the soundtrack will change will the edit of the footage change?
