Horror Stephen King's "IT" Part I and Part II

I wonder if when Chapter Two comes to home video and digital format, they’ll put together some supercut of both films into a 5+ hour cinematic experience, with slightly better editing and pacing for all of the Chapter One material.

Probably not, but it’s an interesting thought.

That’s a nice hefty runtime. Only a little more than a month to go, can’t wait.

What would be really cool is if they did a super cut that did it’s best to emulate the back-and-forth between the present and the past, like in the book. Maybe it wouldn’t really work but it would be interesting to see them try it.

I must say, I'm a little concerned to have seen some comments online which are really questioning if the run time is a good idea, if the story justifies it or if the are just padding it out for the sake ofit. I mean you only have to look at the size of the book to know, that yes it does need to be a long film. This isn't some franchise which is being milked into the ground, it's the conclusion of an epic story which has several characters in it. It's personal opinion of course but I think the fact that a horror movie is being allowed this much runtime is something we should be celebrating not complaining about.

People have short attention spans except when it comes to comic book flicks.

With IT having turned out so good, I’m so curious what Andy muschietti’s version of Pet Sematary was going to be. Hopefully somebody asks him about it when he promotes Chapter II.

Probably a lot better than what we got, and I'm talking about both the 1989 version as well as the 2019 remake.

Yes! I have been hoping that they would include that scene. It would be too good an opportunity to miss.

What scene? I didn't see anything that wasn't in the newest preview.

Andy Muschietti looks like he did it again because this looks first-rate. Also, it appears that they’re gonna show Henry’s arrest. September 6th can't come fast enough.
