Looks like I missed out on some footage. Damn.

I think there are still some fragmented vids floating around on Instagram, if you look under the #ITMovie tag.

Just so happened to come across the footage while I was scrolling through instagram. Those 4 minutes were fantastic, very tense. Both performances were great, I was very impressed. I'm really liking the score too.

I hope I can find someone to see this movie with because all my friends are too scared to go.

Just got back from Annabelle and I wish that preview went on longer so we could see Georgie's death.

Good call.

Footage was pitch-perfect, I'd say.

Currently, what horror film has the biggest opening weekend?

Saw the scene today with Annabelle. Terrific mood and tension. Fantastic performances from both the kid and Skarsgaard (considering how much i like his dad AND his brother i really shouldn't be surprised). This movie looks like it can be really special.

I think it's Paranormal Activity 3 with a 52.6 million OW.

That would be it, $52,568,183 to be exact. Interestingly PA3 is only #9 for domestic total (it had less than a 2x multiplier), 1 spot below the original PA.

Horror does not tend to have big weekends, only 5 horror movies have opened over $40 mil, and except for PA3 the other 4 were between 40.27 and 41.86, just barely over 40.

It was pretty much a shot for shot from the book scene. Deadlights, the dialogue, the whole nine. As an adult you're thinking why in the **** would anyone continue talking to that thing, but Georgie knows Bill won't believe him if he came back sans boat.

Great scene. I think Bill is doing something really special here.

I have never been a horror fan, like at all!

But I am super exited for this one! But why? Maybe it's because It have some Stranger things vibe?

Anyway, I plan to see it at the theatre, and be my first horror I watch at the cinema.

damn. But if the RT score is under 60%, I might skip it.

Why? Make up your own mind. Go see the movie. RT isn't the be all end all.

First...awesome avatar.

on the question, if the movie get's bad reviews I might decide to skip it at the cinema. I know it's a stupid thing to do, yet...

But I have a feeling that the movie will be good and it will finish around the 70s in RT.

Regardless of the RT score I'm gonna catch a showing of this when the most number of people are guaranteed to be in the audience. I feel like that's gonna be the ideal way to see it.

Just saw the Georgie meets Pennywise scene from Annabelle: Creation. I must say, phenomenal atmosphere and tension. First-rate performances. Despite, taking place in 1989 this looks like a faithful adaptation. September 8th can't come any sooner.

#You'llFloatToo

It has been my most antispated movie ever since maybe Dunkirk. I will see it regardless if it get bad reviews but I hope it doesn't based on the 4 min scene bill is great as pennywise from the little we seen of him in that scene can't wait to see more of him in the movie.

That is a huge forehead. I wonder how long it took to get him in makeup each day.

Yeah, it's definitely going to be an awesome in-theater experience. For me, this is a must-see on opening night/weekend.

Im thinking this movie might legit give me the kind of scares I had when I was a kid. Like the kind of scares that keep me up at night for weeks straight lol. Even the conjuring and Insidious didnt do that for me those movies were just creepy.

The problem with the Conjuring films, or Annabelle, is that there's no genuine threat. Nobody gets hurts. Nobody is in real danger. There's no sense of dread. It's spooky, creepy and unsettling, but not really anything else. It feels like it's got that real sense of danger. It has that real sense of dread. That's why I'm looking forward to it.

I don't really feel any sense of dread since we know there's a part 2 where the come back as adults.

I just want a scary movie that doesn't rely on jump scares. That actually creates a scary atmosphere.

Yeah, they'll get traumatized but none of them are going to die sans the supporting cast we know from the book. If something really ****s up happens you know they'll be shaken but still alive.
