Burt Wonderstone is an upcoming movie directed by Dan Scardino and written by Chad Kultgen, John Francis Daley and Jonathan M. Goldstein.

Steve Carrell plays Burt Wonderstone, a famous, but jaded Las Vegas magician who breaks up with his longtime stage partner Anton Lovecraft, played by Steve Buscemi. However, when a new, "hip" street magician called Steve Haines, played by Jim Carrey, whose tricks amount to inflicting great harm upon himself, starts to become popular, Wonderstone sets off to reunite with Lovecraft and regain his popularity.

The cast also includes Olivia Wilde as Jane, Wonderstone's stage assistant; James Gandolfini as Doug Munny, owner of the club where Wonderstone performs; Brad Garrett as Dom, an accountant fired by Wonderstone who becomes Haines' agent; Alan Arkin as Wonderstone's idol, famous magician Rance Hanson; and Jay Mohr as magician Rick, The Implausible.

The movie will be released in 2013. Here's a few set pictures.

Siegfried & Roy vs Kriss Angel? Should be fun :awesome:

Jim Carrey looks like's doing his best Dave Grohl impression

I'm looking forward to this. Lol in that last pic Steve Carelle looks like he walked out of Goodfellas or Casino.

i hope its great. and olivia....so sexy.

Looks hilarious ... but then I also thought that Your Highness and Year One would be good. :(

Looks like it's going to be funny, hope it doesn't disappoint but it's got a while until it comes out.

With the exception of Jay Mohr, the rest of the cast looks good.

OK, this is the funniest thing I have seen since....the Rogen apocalypse trailer last night.

I love magicians, I love pretty much all of the actors involved (especially Jim. He's one of my favorite actors period), so I'm sold. Plus that trailer was hilarious! 2013 is going to be a great year for comedies.

This looks so awesome. Kind of has this Blades of Glory meets Dodgeball kind of feel to it. Dunno why

Looks pretty good. It's been awhile since I've seen Jim Carrey in anything decent for the past couple of years.

Love the trailer.

This actually looks pretty good and funny and well worth my time spending at the cinema.

I'm excited to see what Carrey does in this movie and Kick-Ass 2... Been a while since I've seen him in a role. I skipped on Popper's Penguins.

Yeah I enjoyed Carrey in Yes Man but this looks good, very funny and really has Carrell ever dissapointed? Not in my eyes. Note that I didn't see Evan Almighty.

Yes Man was hilarious... and you were right to skip on Evan Almighty. Wish I had.

I wish they would have just made Bruce Almighty 2 with Jim Carrey but he was upholding his no sequel rule then.

I saw this at a preview and I laughed my ass off the whole time

I want to say yes but Jeff Daniels just said that Carrey really wants to do Dumb and Dumber 2

Yeah, I also skipped Popper's Penguins, just didn't appeal to me.
