This movie should be about aliens crashing on an island and then a billionaire turns the island into Extraterrestrial Park.

I was hoping this would be more of a horror movie, but Colman Domingo's comments make me think it'll be closer in spirit to E.T. or Close Encounters.

Not just because of the state of the world, but people seem to refute the very concept of sincere emotions in movies.

Lots of stuff in the mainstream is either been put though this ironic, self aware meta-y blender, or it's about angry and vengeful people.
