When Broken City was first released I figured I'd check it because
1)100 Bullets was one of my favorite comic book series' at the time so their creative team working on my favorite comic book character's main book should've been full of win.
2) I was let down so much by Hush that anything that came after it may seem like an improvement
Well I was bored with it half way through gave it one more shot with the fourth issue and then dropped every batbook not named Gotham Central for a while. Well I finally bought the issues I was missing (BATMAN #624 & 625) at a very cheap price and went back and re-read the thing and it actually ended up getting better.
It's just that the pacing seemed off in a monthly format it read much better in one sitting and actually isn't a very bad story in retrospect. What are the bat stories you guys have given a second chance to and realized were better than you remembered them being?
