they atleast changes the fighting style completly from the old games and its a rpg game now too where as everytime a new streetfighter game comes out the game is exactly the same compared the to last one. just it will have some new characters.

Well although I am Bison I do consider myself an equal fan of both. I picked Street Fighter because at the time Street Fighter had more interesting characters than Mortal Kombat BUT we should give props to Mortal Kombat for atleast including real ninjas in a fighting game.

Mortal Kombats popularity mostly arose from the blood, gore and fatalities whereas Street Fighter's rose from actual game play, combos, animations, and soundtrack. Mortal Kombat mostly rose from violent gimmiks. Even Ed Boon admitted that Mortal Kombat would not have been popular if it was not for the amount of blood that was spilling in the game.

So my vote goes to classic Street Fighter over classic Mortal Kombat. Now if it was to vote for current Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat I'd have to give it to MK because Capcom hasn't put out anything new for Street Fighter in over a decade. It recently just put out Street Fighter Alpha:Anthology but it's just the same old games. Nothing new.

We already have MK:Shaolin Monks, MKeception, and the future MK:Armageddon.
