Study says plants can hear themselves being eaten

Hmmmm....

I laughed when I read this because I just cut up a ton of veggies for a salad. The plan for today is steaks, kabobs, potatoes and....salad.

I wonder if the potatoes know they're about to be baked?

if the plants are fresh and crispy the way they're supposed to be, then this is the sound I expect to hear and the sound THEY'RE going to hear when I have them as a salad...
