I know we all love our lil white boxes of joy but there probably stuff you wish it could do to: like for starters

  • no fc.........never going to happen anytime soon but one can dream
  • less mini games i'm a casual at heart but these half-baked mini games will drive me nuts
  • better organization of games/ make your own channel to organize your games:
like a mario channel, sonic, ant etc.

:ninja: so what do wish your Wii could do?:ninja:

With all the games comming out not only for the Wii but also for the Virtual Console, Nintendo needs to come up with a type of hard drive for the Wii. Flash memory isn't going to cut it.

friend codes...............are you sure you own a wii...............the joker...............wii 101

I've never heard it shortened before. And yeah, a gamertag system would be much better than the stupid friend codes.

New controllers. The Wii Remote are nice and all but the novelty part is starting to die out. It's time to put some real games on the Wii now.

the controls are fine...play RE4 on Wii, and tell me it's not a thousand times better to control than it ever was on Gamecube or PS2 with there "real controllers"

i cant tell you i have yet to open my wii yet -__- my family wont give me mines so all i can do is count the days to the 25 of dec.

The Wii has two regular controllers. It's called the Gamecube controller and the Wavebird. If a developer wanted to, they could just simply make a regular game with those controllers in mind. Frankly only one Wii game has regular controls, Super Smash Bros. Brawl.

3 controllers actually...it has the Classic Controller add on as well.

True, but that's developed with Virtual Console games in mind. I'm surprised that Nintendo is putting it in Super Smash Bros. Brawl, especially since it doesn't have rumble like the Gamecube Controller.

i wish my wii was able to play dvd's. i know it will come out eventually but its not like youll be able to upgrade.

its not a big deal but thats the only upgrade i wish it had.

and that it had some kind of music storage capabilities.

hippie hunter you dont have to rub it in:csad: :woot:

and i know you dont have to buy the mini games but if much of your librarry consists of minigames and very little of everything else you know.it sorta sucks........but next years lookin' better but mario's looking good and i might buy my first zelda game ever(TP) to hold me over til '08...........

i know something i would like voice chat.......not everyone likes it but having the option would be nice or at least be able to chat to friends while playing without the basic "awesome", "cool", or my favorite "better luck next time" text.........

- No Region locking. Luckily Xseed games brought over Victorious Boxers Revolutions, but there are a couple of games I would like to import.
- Rumble for Virtual Console games and online play for them as well.
- Megaman Legends Wii

More games! Would say online play but Nintendo still hasn't realized that online play IS waaaay bigger than they think it is.

Kid Icarus
New Punch Out!
Rare games like both Banjo Kazooies and Donkey Kong 64 on the Virtual Console
Gameboy games on the Virtual Console like Metroids, Advance Wars, Zeldas

A refund! LOLOLOOLOLLOL

Just kidding

not really :(

or am I not not am not really not am?

headsets for online play
gameboy classics on virtual play
games on virtual play coming with online options
and gamertags to replace of the friend codes

1 - Punch Out Wii
2 - Nunchuck/Wiimote motion fighting for VC Punch Out

and the third....well this is from a post I put in another thread....kind of rambly, but basically a great idea for the Wii or any system

Also, does it seem to you like they left space in there for more stuff? Like why is shooting it's own heading when it's only got one event under it (Same with Archery, Table Tennis and Rowing) Is it possible that additional events might be downloadable in the future? Could it even work like that?

Which got me thinking another thing....just a wacky Idea.....could they make a game console that can read from two CDs at once? or some add on that plugs into the Wii that could be played at the same time as another game it was designed for?

Cause I was thinking that that would be cool for games like this, if a few months or a year down the road another game comes out that uses the main drive and engine and characters and **** from M&SATOG and from the new disk we get a bunch of new games and new characters and music and stuff.....could something like that work?

Funny how I got the idea while playing this game and the idea is so very very similar to Sonic & Knuckles for the Sega Genesis where one could plug Sonic 3 or 2 into the top and play as Knuckles in those games....I really wonder sometimes why that technology never took off.....I always imagined that tech being used on a Final Fantasy VI (Then III) type of game where basically the game could be twice as long but once you need to switch cratriges your EXP and stuff could be carried over.

Anyway, back to the original.....does that dual disk idea sound like a good one or what?

Another thing the Wii absolutely needs and Nintendo needs to do is make a battery recharger for the Wii Remotes.
