Really sad. It seems as though the father may have done more than record himself cutting her hair but it isnt substantiated.

I dont understand this trend of publicly shaming your children as a means of punishment. It seems more like bullying to get likes on social media for being a "good parent".

I know what you mean. I've been fostering a trio of kittens for nearly 3 weeks now (they were only two weeks old at the time) and only because the no-kill shelter is full right now and the only other option is a shelter that does kill.

What she did was doubly cruel and inhumane.

She got him confused with Jorge Garcia She made a lunch bet, and I said "You don't want to bet me on this. Watching U.S. Netflix in Canada by using location-hiding services such as VPNs is stealing and needs to be more frowned upon, the new president of Bell Media says.

At a keynote speech at the Telecom Summit in Toronto on Wednesday, Mary Ann Turcke said Canadians who skirt copyright laws by finding ways of accessing digital content hurt Canadian culture and jobs and need to stop.

"It has to become socially unacceptable to admit to another human being that you are VPNing into U.S. Netflix," she said, "like throwing garbage out your car window — you just don't do it."

Vengeful Citizens Push Over Port-a-Potty as Man *********es Inside

In Portland lives a man who jerks off in a port-a-potty, with the door open, regularly. This morning, a group of homeless people who live near the toilet decided they’d had enough and pushed the port-a-potty over, covering the *********ing exhibitionist with poop.

KATU reports that the incident took place this morning around 8 a.m., at the Eastbank Esplanade near Portland’s Hawthorne bridge, when the 48-year-old man allegedly entered the bathroom and began to expose himself.

“[He] was flashing us over and over again, and we asked him multiple times and told him to stop and he wouldn’t,” a homeless woman told KATU. “Our friend thought it would be funny to get up and jump behind the port-a-potty and kick it.”

The port-a-potty tumbled over, trapping the man inside. Portland Fire and Rescue crews rescued him. Responding police declined to arrest him.

“Physically, he’s fine but he had a crappy day,” Portland Police spokesman Willie Halliburton told KATU. “Fortunately for him, he had some clothing he could change into and clean himself up later on. It worked out OK.”

Glad to hear everything ended happily for the man who regularly *********es in a port-a-potty with the door open.

Christian conservatives win, children lose: Texas textbooks will teach public school students that the Founding Fathers based the Constitution on the Bible, and the American system of democracy was inspired by Moses.
On Friday the Republican-controlled Texas State Board of Education voted along party lines 10-5 to approve the biased and inaccurate textbooks. The vote signals a victory for Christian conservatives in Texas, and a disappointing defeat for historical accuracy and the education of innocent children.
The textbooks were written to align with instructional standards that the Board of Education approved back in 2010 with the explicit intention of forcing social studies teaching to adhere to a conservative Christian agenda. The standards require teachers to emphasize America’s so called “Christian heritage.”
In essence, Christian conservatives in Texas have successfully forced a false historical narrative into public school textbooks that portray Moses as an influence on the Constitution and the Old Testament as the root of democracy.
Critics called the whole process into question after publishers posted a number of last-minute changes to the textbooks yesterday, leaving board members and observers without time to figure out exactly what was in the approved texts.
According to reports, scholars did not have an opportunity to review and comment on the numerous changes publishers have submitted since the last public hearing. Some of those changes appeared to have been negotiated with state board members behind closed doors.

TX teachers mock special ed students with ‘ghetto awards’ – insist they didn’t mean to degrade anyone

A Texas school district has launched an investigation into two middle school teachers’ years-long practice of distributing “Ghetto Awards” to children receiving special education services, a CBS affiliate reports.

A 14-year-old Sulphur Springs Middle School student came home from school this week with a certificate that read “8th Annual Ghetto Classroom Awards” on top. The document stated the boy had specifically earned a “huh?” award this year for expressing so much confusion in class. Teachers had handed the certificates out to a classroom of students receiving supportive services for learning disabilities.

The child’s mother, Jerrika Wilkins, tells Fox 4 she “felt angry and a bit confused as to what was meant by ‘ghetto’,” when her son showed her the certificate his teachers had given him. “He feels pretty inferior,” Wilkins says of her son’s emotional reaction. “You know, he wants to succeed. You know, [the “ghetto” award] just kind of hurt his feelings.” Wilkins posted a picture of the document to Facebook.

School Principal locks down school because of...Storm Trooper Cosplayer.

A man walking around Lynn, Massachusetts, showing off his stormtrooper outfit was arrested after he unintentionally caused a nearby school to briefly lock down over security fears.

The principal of the Brickett Elementary School was about to dismiss classes for the day when she spotted a man in a costume carrying what appeared to be a gun near the school grounds.

George Cross, 40, "was arrested on charges of disturbing a school and loitering within 1,000 feet of a school," according to Salem News.

The principal suspected the gun was plastic, but as Lynn Police spokesman Lt. Rick Donnelly explained, "the way things are today, you can't have that."

Donnelly added. "Our feelings are that he was not there to cause harm to the kids, but he used bad judgment. ... He did cause a disturbance and we can't tolerate that."
