Serial Horse Lover Breaks Leg Trying to Bang Horse

A Texas man who was twice arrested in 2013 for having sex with a horse named Nadia has apparently struck again. Police say Cirilo Castillo, 45, was caught back in February in the same barn he’d been ordered to stay away from, once again attempting to violate a horse. He was arraigned this month on criminal trespassing charges.

When the owner of the barn came to feed her horses in the morning, she found Castillo with a broken leg, the San Antonio Express-News reported. Although he said he’d been injured in a car accident and went to the barn for shelter, investigators are pretty sure he was kicked by a horse he was attempting to rape. They didn’t specify whether the victim was Nadia, the mare Castillo was apparently obsessed with.

He can’t be charged with bestiality because it’s not officially a crime in Texas, but he was already on probation for cruelty to animals after his previous violations of Nadia. (He also spent 270 days in jail for public lewdness over a 2012 incident with another horse.)

“I can’t just ignore this and allow it to keep happening,” Hidalgo County sheriff Lupe Trevino said, back in 2013, “Maybe we can get him some help, whatever we can do, we are going to try and do.”

But all their help wasn’t enough to stop Castillo from pursuing his dreams, consequences be damned. Who would he be if he let little things like the law, a broken leg, and the owner of the barn he keeps breaking into come between him and the thing he really wants (sex with horse)?

One day I hope to find a woman that I feel half the passion this guy feels for that damn horse :o

Why doesn't he just buy Nadia, bring her to Vegas and rent a stable? :o

Sometimes a man just gets an urge to ride that...

Chinese A-lister sued for 'staring' at man through TV

BEIJING — Rules making it easier to file lawsuits in China have led to a new concern over frivolous claims, such as one in which a man says actress Zhao Wei stared at him too intensely through his TV set.

The regulations making it more difficult for courts to reject lawsuits took effect May 1, leading to an increase in cases nationwide last month of 29 percent compared with same period last year, to just over 1 million cases, according to the Supreme People's Court.

The registration system requires courts to accept legitimate lawsuits when they are filed or clearly state the reasons for rejecting them, and citizens have the right to appeal the decisions.

"Previously, it was difficult for administrative cases, such as people suing governments, to be accepted," said Li Heping, a Beijing lawyer.

In announcing the registration system, the official Xinhua News Agency said: "Authorities are determined to put an end to obstructive behavior by courts and officials meddling in cases."

The change has led to Shanghai Pudong New District Court receiving a case against Zhao, the court's litigation service hotline confirmed. The court official, who declined to identify himself, refused to say whether the court had accepted the case.

Zhao is one of China's biggest and richest movie stars, and starred in director John Woo's "Red Cliff."

Reports say the lawsuit filed by a Shanghai man involves the prime-time TV show "Tiger Mom" which debuted in May and centers on a couple's differing approach to raising their daughter. Zhao plays the big-eyed mother who relentlessly pushes her daughter's development, while the father wants his child to have more freedom.

The Legal Daily said the plaintiff was alleging Zhao's stare caused him "spiritual damage."

Gan Wen, deputy head of a case-filing chamber under the Supreme Court, said at a news conference Tuesday that the Zhao case was an example of citizens abusing their right to file lawsuits.

"It's not necessary to waste our judicial resources on cases like these," Gan said.

Sigh... Oh DJ... Oh poor Floridian DJ. :sly:

Between all the stories I hear about the NYPD and some of the other crazy stuff I read about it I just don't know. But then again people try to give FL a bad rap and it's awesome. I love living by the beach and all the beautiful ladies in bikinis

Texas Teacher Fired After Disturbingly Racist Post In Response To Pool Party Incident

A teacher has been "relieved of her teaching duties" after posting a racist Facebook rant in response to recent events at a McKinney, Texas, pool party, according to a statement from Frenship Independent School District.

Karen Fitzgibbons was a fourth-grade teacher a Bennett Elementary school of Frenship ISD in Wolfforth, Texas. On Tuesday, she posted an article to her page about Eric Casebolt, a police officer who recently resigned after being involved in a racially charged incident last Friday.

"This makes me ANGRY!" reads the post from Fitzgibbons, referring to Casebolt's resignation, according to Texas outlet the Lubbock Avalanche-Journal. "This officer should not have to resign. I'm going to just go ahead and say it...the blacks are the ones causing the problems and this 'racial tension.' I guess that's what happens when you flunk out of school and have no education."

The post continues, "I’m sure their parents are just as guilty for not knowing what their kids were doing; or knew it and didn’t care. I’m almost to the point of wanting them all segregated on one side of town so they can hurt each other and leave the innocent people alone. Maybe the 50s and 60s were really on to something. Now, let the bashing of my true and honest opinion begin....GO! #imnotracist #imsickofthemcausingtrouble #itwasatagedcommunity."

The post has since been deleted.

Fitzgibbons later issued an apology, according to local outlet KCBD-TV.

"First, to anyone, of any race, that I have offended, I sincerely apologize. That was not my intent. I let my emotions get the best of me, and instead of taking a deep breath, vented in an inappropriate way. I am truly sorry," it says in part.

The apology goes on to say that Fitzgibbons teaches her students to treat others with dignity, and she is now "ashamed" of her previous Facebook post.

When are people going to realize that posting the racist ignorant thoughts that pop into their heads on Facebook is a quick way to get fired? Her "apology" reeks of BS.

She is just sorry that other white people didn't rally around her dumbass racist rant

What gets me is whenever someone goes on a rant like that, they seem to just be sorry for saying it aloud, and not recognizing that thinking that way is also part of the problem.

There are currently several cities and states I would not live in due to the idiotic way they are being run or from the inhabitants. New York (NYC imparticular thanks to the NYPD), Florida (I've lived there, I know), Texas (because, Texas) and California (so, so many reasons).

Kansas gets a nominal mention with Oaklahoma for their lack of belief in modern science and strict adherence to religion in spite of the seperation of church and state. Would they mind if the state got involved in church business? Didn't think so.

I'm also wary of West Virginia, Tennessee, North and South Dakota, New Mexico, Arizona, Utah... you know what, I think I might move to Canada just to be on the safe side.

I think I might move to Canada just to be on the safe side.

A few weeks ago in another thread, I made a joke about how all Canadians are considered the nicest people.....and a Canadian poster chewed me out for perpetuating that myth......so if you go up there, don't tell them why because they may kick you out......but they may also give you a nice going away gift basket.

I'm not quite as concerned about how nice they are although that is a perk.

How dare you! :argh:

Nah, in Eastern Canada we're awesome and laid back where the further west you go the more cranky everyone gets. Mind you having less guns to worry about and decent health care really drops down the worries so even the cranky parts of Canada are nicer than some parts of the US.

None of us up here are really sure what the **** is going on with Texas though.

Considering how other country stereotypes go Canada has it great. The USA is insane, brash and jerks. Australia is trying to murder everybody and so on but Canada is just really nice.

Because banning books in a college is always smart.

“At most I would like the books eradicated from the system,” she said. “I don’t want them taught anymore. I don’t want anyone else to have to read this garbage.” And her father trotted out the who-will-think-of-the-children argument, saying, “We haven’t gotten into the issue of these books being sold in the bookstore and there are under-aged kids here at this campus.

Wow, just wow. These people really don't like reading outside their (likely very narrow) comfort zone. I wonder if they've ever read anything more advanced than what they were forced to in school.

"Think of the children". What BS where a college is involved. I've read some of the books they mention and while yes they can be violent and have mature subject matter they also are kept away from children in the first place. Anyone over 13 should be mature to handle the content in them.

Lol I'd tell these parents to **** off.

I'd laugh in their faces if they told me the books were too mature and 'full of disturbing content' then show the Transmetropolitan or anything by Garth Ennis. :D I'm sure Preacher would make them cry then try to burn down the college or something.

I say if she was expecting Batman, give her Dark Knight Returns, Killing Joke and Arkham Asylum: A Serious House on a Serious Earth to read.

Or just the Joker book. I'm sure they'd love the implied rape and the guy that got skinned alive. :o

Florida single moms need to put sexual history in newspaper to put kids up for adoption

Sen. Marco Rubio (R) was among the Florida state legislators who voted for the so-called "Scarlet Letter" law in 2001 that required single mothers to publish their sexual histories in the newspaper in order to place their babies up for adoption.

Five U.S. congressmen -- Reps. Mario Diaz-Balart (R), Lois Frankel (D), Jeff Miller (R), Gus Bilirakis (R) and Dennis Ross (R) -- were state legislators at the time and voted for the controversial bill. Reps. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D), Frederica Wilson (D), Daniel Webster (R) and Bill Posey (R), who were also state legislators back then, voted against it.

The law, which passed with overwhelming majorities in the House and Senate, required unwed moms who wished to put their babies up for adoptions to post details about their recent sexual encounters in the newspaper in an attempt to contact the father, even if the woman was a victim of rape or incest. The purpose of the bill was to inform estranged biological fathers that their children were being adopted and give them the chance to intervene.

The "Scarlet Letter" law gained media attention this week after The Huffington Post reported that former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush (R) had advocated for the public shaming of unwed parents in his 1995 book. Bush allowed the controversial law to go into effect in 2001, but signed a repeal of it two years later after it was successfully challenged in court.

The fact that Rubio, a 2016 presidential candidate, supported the bill could inoculate Bush from criticism that he allowed it to go into effect if Bush decides to throw his hat in the ring.

The Gainesville Sun reported in 2002 that some lawmakers -- including Frankel, a longtime women's right activist -- did not realize the newspaper publication provision was in the bill when they voted for it. "I have to admit I'm horrified that I voted for this," Frankel told the Sun at the time.

Rubio and the other current members of Congress who supported the bill did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

I honestly have trouble with people that put this garbage through. It's good it got canceled way back when but still. **** shaming is ****ing stupid.
