Suicide bombings hit Saudi Arabia, including Medina

Shortly after a potential terrorist attack was stopped in Jeddah, more suicide bombings have occurred in Saudi Arabia. One occurred in Medina, near the security headquarters of the Prophet's Mosque, the 2nd-holiest site in Islam. Another bombing occurred in Qatif, home to many of SA's Shi'a Muslim population. ISIS and these other terrorist groups are really intent on making Ramadan their month of terror, which would seemingly go against everything the Quran says.

Has it always been this active around Ramadan? It could be that the extremists are trying to scare moderates into joining them.

It didn't used to be like this but it seems like it's become a thing for ISIS the past few years.
