Frankly, the MPAA rating system is incredibly dated and in need of a serious revision, but that's a conversation for another thread.

    Then I'll be slightly disappointed.

I am not sure adding Batman in a marketing campaign is such a good idea. Better market it for what it is - first all-villain superhero movie, than a film that includes Batman, who most probably just has an extended cameo.

I don't care about that. All I know is that when I was 10 I could go to the local video store (yes, VIDEO) and rent Terminator 2 without my parents. And I did. :woot:

So I know I was kinda talking about the film getting an R rating originally but I'm kinda flipped flopped on that now. I recently watched Assault on Arkham. If anyone hasn't seen it and is hotly anticipating suicide squad then there's no excuse to not watch it. So this movie got a pg-13 and I'm honestly amazed by what it gets away with. Exploding heads with blood, lots of language, and a sex scene. Not a terribly graphic sex scene but yes a sex scene. It's possible that the rating can get effected due to it being animated (which is stupid) but definitely thinking HARD pg-13 now.

Those were the days. I did a similar thing for White Men Can't Jump and thought I was a real bad-ass!

I watched Pulp Fiction, Interview With a Vampire and The Crow when I was 12. My Dad rented them for me.

I also remembering watching Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves at school when I was in grade 6.

A lot of people who push for R don't realize how much mileage you can get out of PG-13.

I think Ayer could do an R/Unrated directors cut but have the theatrical release be a hard PG13

I think those eyes are real. Didn't we see a set picture of someone transporting the Croc face piece around? Looked like the eye space was pretty big. I'll have to go watch the trailer again I suppose. What a terrible chore to have to sit through it again. ;)

A hard PG-13 along the lines of TDK/TDKR will do just fine. The MPAA lets studios get away with a lot given the proper "incentive".

    I didn't realize the U.S didn't have the equivalent of a 15 rating
Her reviews are bizarre. She often has little idea or understanding of what she is talking about. She makes weird assumptions and leaps of logic on things that make no sense.

It is like watching a five year old tying to give you their opinion on quantum mechanics.

This was posted on Reddit. The SS trailer trending in the US.

In terms of views, it has almost caught up with BvS. Pretty crazy.

    Great news.
Though it should be noted that first ever looks on stuff tends to come with that much more intrigue. Especially if they are as full as this trailer.
DC is really making a bid for 2016.

All I'm going to say is that I only want to see the movie for Harley Quinn. I could give a crap about any of the other actors. See Margot Robbie in the trailer made me fall head over heels in love with her. She looks down right hot as Harley Quinn. I have a deep love for Harley Quinn.

I hope the film does well cause I would love to see Margot Robbie get a solo film as Harley Quinn.

Thanks. I was initially confused as I read that the Rick Flagg Tom Hardy went for was meant to be a turncoat? That Flagg Snr was part of the SS had gone rogue and his son was carrying on that legacy?

Flagg Sr. died on a mission. That turncoat stuff was part of a rumored plot, so we don't know if it's true. It could happen, but for all intents and purposes Flagg is a good guy.

We should want to see the director's cut in the theaters like it's meant to be seen. No compromises for the $$$$
