Bandai Namco will release Super Dragon Ball Heroes: World Mission for Switch and PC in the Americas and Europe on April 5, the company announced.

In Japan, the game will launch for Switch on April 4.

Here is an overview of the game, via Bandai Namco:

Super Dragon Ball Heroes: World Mission takes place in Hero Town, an alternate reality where a Dragon Ball card game is the most popular form of entertainment.

Take on the role of Beat, the protagonist of Super Dragon Ball Heroes: World Mission, and follow his journey to become the world champion of Super Dragon Ball Heroes. However, when the antagonists from the virtual game world appear in Hero Town and start wreaking havoc, Beat jumps into the game world and teams up with famous Dragon Ball characters to restore peace in the real world.

Super Dragon Ball Heroes: World Mission is a card battle game featuring fighters from across all the Dragon Ball universes, transformations never seen before, and a brand-new character designed by Toyotarou, the mangaka (manga creator) of Dragon Ball Super. The game will feature a gigantic roster with 350 fighters available, and over 1,000 collectible cards.

The latest issue of V-Jump has new information on Super Dragon Ball Heroes: World Mission, including a new “Card Edit” feature that allows players to create custom cards.

Card Edit

By obtaining a blank card, you can add illustrations, effects, abilities, and the like to create an original card. To create a high power card, you will need a blank card with high rarity. Illustrations can be layered several times and rotated, allowing you to create a design of your liking. Customizable details include special attack energy cost, abilities, CAA, and the like.

Mission Edit

Create missions in Creation Mode, then share them online. You can also play other players’ missions.

Ahms’ Second Form Revealed

Ahms is an artificial intelligence life-form created by Sealas. The magazine reveals his second form. The right half of its body is that of Cell, while the left half of its body is that of Freeza.

Limited Battles (Online Battles)

Limited Battle is an online battle rule that places restrictions on card amount and rarity. The winner of a Limited Battle may receive a super rare victory prize. The rareness of the item will increase for every Limited Battle you win.

Bandai Namco has released a new trailer for Super Dragon Ball Heroes: World Mission introducing the game’s newly revealed “Card Edit” mode.

In Card Edit mode, you can add illustrations, effects, and abilities to the “Blank Cards” you obtain by clearing battles and the like to create your very own original cards. To create a high power card, you will need a Blank Card with high rarity. Up to five characters can be placed on a single card.

In Super Dragon Ball Heroes: World Mission, players will be able to build powerful decks featuring over 350 Dragon Ball heroes and 1,000-plus cards to unlock and use on the field of battle. Players will also be able to save up to 50 customized decks to take-on any situation or opponent. With experience and knowledge gained through play, players will learn the secret to combining certain cards to unlock Ultimate Unit Attacks to devastate enemies.
