Damn, this is one movie I can hardly wait for. I loved the first one and right now it is my favorite comedy to watch. The fact that it is going to be set in 1976 makes it all the more appealing.
Supposedly this installment is going to be called 'Super Troopers '76' and will bring back Thorny, Mac, Foster, Rabbit, and everyones favorite - Farva. They will be playing their fathers in '76 though.
One idea being klicked around for a possible third installment is 'Super Troopers 3000.' As you may have guessed it will take place in the future. I like this idea almost as much as the 'Super Troopers 76' idea.
