Superbowl Ad?

My insider told me that Marvel wanted to market this movie like there was no tomorrow two months prior to release meaning we would just be seeing a lot Hulk for two months non-stop, my bet to keep the movie very fresh in peoples minds.

However that doesn't mean we wouldn't get anything before that.

Marvel know what they are doing. If there is no Super Bowl spot then I'm sure Marvel didn't want one and have something else planned.

Holydays(maybe Halloween); Thanksgiving; Christmas; December/January; Superbowl; February; The End Of March...
and the list continues...

Hey, I'm honest in saying I dont know when we will see some promotion. Maybe they are doing this so they miss the Shrek comments again, but i really think we should see more at this point given the competition this summer. I have no clue why Universal and Marvel are ******ed in marketing the Hulk character properly. I still think the success of this movie hinges on being more about the marketing, than the quality of the movie itself. And in that respect, I think Marvel dropped the ball going with Universal again.

Just one thing I Know: If they don't release a trailer at all... they will miss the Shrek comments for sure!

as long as we have audiences that make things like Hannah Montana and Meet the Spartans box office hits, we will hear stupid crap like "Hulk looks like Shrek".

Truer words were never spoken.

Wow,just wow. They are really dropping the ball with this,if you don't read comics or aren't a fan of the Hulk, you wouldn't even know a new Hulk movie was coming out this summer.

I doubt they've kept things this secret. We're not getting a Super Bowl TV spot.

The marketing on this film is beginning to take the Fox approach...

between this and the fiasco with the comics right now (the Loeb-McGuinnis Hulk title being postponed for a month right before the movies release) things are not looking so well for Mean Green in 2008.

The half time will confirm whether or not we'll have the spot.

Halftime's over. I still haven't seen a single green angry man tonight.

The SB Iron Man Spot is FREAKIN' AWESOME!
Men, I just hope that we can have something like that very soon...

I'm anxiously watching too... WTH would it be a Universal listing? IM isn't??? They are only handling distribution. Anywho, hope we get a surprise here but if not I'll trust Marvel to know what they're doing...

Iron Man's was amazing.

Come on Hulk, smash it!

I just looked at the ironman tv spot on the net. I must say I'm very impressed. Maybe there may be more to the movie than I initially thought but we'll see. I hope the Universal spot is Hulk. I can't see the superbowl so you guys tell me what is Universal's spot ok

Smaaaaaash!:cmad:

...Not spam... Added words.

Ok, I am really pissed.

why are you soo upset ? the trailer isn't there because the fx apparently isn't finished yet. just because the first hulk movie had a sb spot didn't mean this one would. besides you have 4 months until the movie comes out, that gives plenty of time for hype and talk.

Why am I upset? BECAUSE THE DAM MOVIE COMES OUT IN 4 MONTHS AND WE HAVE NOTHING ****EN NOTHING NO PICS NO TEASERS NO TRAILERS NO NOTHING!

It looks like Wanted is the Universal spot according to what i saw at youtube.

well maybe they are having delays and the movie may get pushed back, it happens all the time man.

This is beginning to worry me. The SFX in this film should not be so incomplete that they can't create a teaser for this film. If this movie really is a huge improvement, they should've been ready to hype it and ride on the Marvel film popularity.

Maybe as good as it is now, they really want the trailer to represent how amazing it will be in theatres.
Perhaps it will be seen for the first time attached to a movie, trailers with CGI always seem so much better on the big screen.
That said, I'm still sad it didn't show.
