Supergirl Supergirl General Discussion Thread - Part 5

I think it will be funny if Barry during the crossover says "Your president is Wonder Woman?"

i am sure it will be renewed i just wish we got it now with all these others. But like i said in ratings thread i could see them either waiting for the crossover to air first and then make final call or how the last 3 episodes do.

I just read the full interview in which Greg and Andrew dropped the news about bringing in Lynda Carter as the President of the United States, and they openly talk about Season 2 as being a certainty, not just in their comments re: Carter, but also several other times throughout the rest of the interview, so, at this point, there really shouldn't be any doubt as to Season 2 being a reality.

CBS may not have announced that it's coming back with a big official press release/statement, but between Greg and Andrew's comments and network president Les Moonves' statement about renewing all of their freshman series, we can pretty much take it to the bank that Season 2 is a lock.

Yeah, I think they are waiting to announce which freshman series are renewed at the upfronts.

When you also factor in the fact that Chyler too spoke openly about Season 2 when she and Melissa appeared at C2E2, the writing is on the wall that "it's all over but the shouting" when it comes to Season 2 of Supergirl and whether or not we're getting one.

Season 2 is coming; all we're waiting on is the formality.

Good to hear just want an official announcement as there always that lingering doubt

What are the chances of Supergirl being moved to another night next season?

I'm not really sure what night that would be....

Tuesday is pretty much the NCIS night except for NCIS LA which is Monday.

Wednesday night is pretty much their Criminal Minds night, though they have not made a renewal announcement about Criminal Minds yet, probably still negotiating contracts...Thursday night is their Comedy night...Friday night (Which I would hate...) is their Crime show night. And Saturday and Sunday, suck...though Sunday night might not be too bad to pair it up with Madame Secretary. Since right now Sunday night is the most open night...with CSI: Cyber and The Good Wife not coming back.

Ya monday is pretty much the best spot for it. As Kelly pointed out.

I would however, like them to go back to a Big Bang Theory Monday night and have it and Life In Pieces in the 8:00 to 9:00 time slot (those are central times) and move Scorpion to the 9:00 to 10:00 time slot, and move NCIS: LA to Tuesday night and make that an all NCIS night.

I think that would help Monday night, as well as help NCIS LA's low ratings.
Then have their new comedies coming out go along with Mom's and 2 Broke Girls, and have Code Black end that night which would help its ratings...leave Friday night as is...

Well we will see come upfronts if cbs decides to move anything.

Well, as if tonight's Crossover wasn't sweet enough...HERE WE GO AGAIN WITH THOSE DONUTS!!! This time, it's Jenna Dewan Tatum and Britt Morgan dressed as Livewire, who seems to have that look in her eyes.

From Ali Adler...

No one is immune to the donut.

What is it about beautiful girls and donuts? Can anyone explain this mystery? And yes, those are Fruit Loops, M&M's and Oreo's on three of those donuts.

Man hoe do they stay in great shape on that show with all the sweet snacks they got.

For Jenna, that's easy...she's a dancer. Britt Morgan, if you saw one of the BTS vids about the Crossover is very hyper. As for Melissa who is the queen of the donuts...well she must have SUPER-METABOLISM!

Good lord, that Fruit Loop donut.

Too damn much fun to handle....lol

well the good wife is ending and most people claim to write of madam secretary cause it's boring and my baby sister did stop me once when she visited from seeing madam secretary for that reason causes she said she fell a sleep with madam secretary on her own. she told me to literally watch the last man on earth on fox instead o9f it.

may be sun day is a good night. it's good lead into the week. though Monday night will feel weird with out super girl @ 8pm slot. .

How Supergirl is a "total rebuke" of Batman v Superman's grim philosophy

The CBS superhero series, says Abraham Riesman, "isn’t a prestige drama, aiming for weighty and intricate profundity. It deals in straightforward morals, crystal-clear iconography, and breezy dialogue. By contrast, Batman v Superman thinks itself massively profound, tossing us 150 minutes of sludge-heavy speeches about men and gods, good and evil. But that bluster adds up to virtually nothing. Supergirl, in its sweetness and simplicity, quietly offers us potent parables about the ideals we should hold ourselves to.”

I love Madame Secretary, it is one of the few series that I watch on its actual night and not later after DVRing it.
