This is a continuation thread, the old thread is [split]517343[/split]
Nah bruh. Winn was giving Shioban the D every chance he got. And if Kara ever gave him a shot he'd work hard for her too.
Well...I never thought that the topic would turn into this.
Personally, i don't think any of our established characters appear as though they could be "in the closet".
And I've never been fond of the idea of changing a character's orientation (whatever it may originally be) because of wanting to have more of a representation for a targeted group/demographics. It feels forced imho.
Yay! An actor who I admired and who I haven't seen on screen in a long time. Much like Tabrett Bethell and many others!
Well the reason it's been discussed is they've said a character will end up coming out. Now going by the characters in each show Alex seems the most likely as they've never really stated one way or the other if she's into anyone. I'm currently rewatching season one and knowing a character is coming out I'd be shocked if it wasn't her.
Where has that been said?
Came from Kriesberg back in August
"One of the characters on one of the shows is going to be exploring their sexuality and coming out,

Well from that link it could be any show then, not particularly Supergirl.
But maybe it would make more sense for that to happen on Legends of Tomorrow since it would already have White Canary to be on hand to help. Unless they mean her, which wouldn't make sense since she's already out.
Having Winn be the one seems too stereotypical.
It was apparently subsequently stated/confirmed that Flash and Supergirl were the two shows on which a pre-existing character would be coming out, with many leaning towards it happening on Supergirl given that the plotline is something that they had wanted to do "last season" and just didn't have the time for organically.
Looking back at some previous interviews I think it may end up being Alex now. I remember that someone had asked the producers on whether sparks would fly between Alex and Maggie and it was noted that the producer remained silent on it.
If that ends up being the case then go figure. I thought Alex was straight since it looked like she had some sexual tension with Maxwell Lord last season. Maybe she'll end up bi like Sara then.lol
I remember finding it interesting that no one even entertained the possibility that she was actually attracted to Max last season when she was leading him on (even when she told Kara about their date, Kara's only concern was about her lying to him and getting caught - if I were Kara, I'd be worried that my sister was possibly attracted to my worst enemy, but she wasn't), so Alex being gay would kinda make sense to me.
her suit looks so blue. The reds so red. Has a filter been applied to that?

Just to be clear, I meant no one in the show entertained the possibility of Alex being into Max, not in the fandom. I'm sure there are Alex/Max shippers out there.
And I agree with the other stuff, but they've already said it's a major established character on Flash or Supergirl who is gay, so I'm just saying Alex appears the most likely to me on either show.
