I’d like to see some pretty big changes.

I’d like the DEO to go. Realistically, we only ever really see J’onn, Alex and Winn. I’d also like to see Kara standing on her own too feet when it comes to problem solving. Maybe there is a change in government and the new one shuts it down or expels all aliens and alien sympathisers?

J’onn, Winn and Alex would all still be able to provide support with their own skills and some technology borrowed from the DEO.

I’d also like to see CatCo go and for Kara to further her journalism career through a blog which focuses on alien, meta human and other odd stories. It would provide her a perfect cover for investigating and getting involved in the weekly cases.

I’d also like to see the cast reduced. J’onn should be permanently de-powered through some means and perhaps he takes a mini-break, especially after losing the DEO. I’m not opposed to Jimmy joining Kara’s blog as a photographer, but I’m also happy for him to return to Metropolis. I’m not sure what to do about Lena, but I’d like to see her remain. I’m just not sure how to best use the character - perhaps she embarks on a career in politics?

Mon-El and the other Legionnaires need to all return to their time period.

Instead of a season long arc, I’d prefer mini-arcs of four to six episodes. I don’t think the writers are able to fully service season long arcs. At most, maybe two arcs of 12 episodes each?

Otherwise, I’d like to see a greater focus on journalism for Kara if that is her chosen career and more superheroics for Supergirl, even of the day to day variety. I would be opposed to them expanding upon the negative impact of Supergirl’s vigilantism as raised by Maggie, perhaps due to the change in government?

Well, I know I sound like a broken record at this point, but it's more relevant now than ever: New Krypton. Argo deserves a proper focus, and while I have zero expectations that they would do anything remotely resembling a faithful adaptation of the comic arc, I don't think that would be a bad thing - the execution of that arc was all over the place in the comics and rather clunky at times anyway anyway. But I love the idea of it, and the concept is ripe for adaptation on this show, imo: the people/governments of Earth knowing there's another, advanced alien civilization close enough to be their neighbors, and trying to forge diplomatic relationships with that civilization - citizens of Argo pledging to aide in the intergalactic protection of Earth (like Alura just did) in exchange for resources, while certain nefarious parties on both sides (Luthors, General Lane, Reactron, General Zod, Kara's former friends/family on Krypton, Brainiac, etc) are sabotaging or undermining that relationship at every turn. With Supergirl (and Superman) caught in the middle of course, both worlds constantly turning to them to advocate on their behalf.

I know it's unlikely, but that little blip of Argo City we got this season COULD serve as a nice little prologue for such a story, should the writers be feeling a little more ambitious.

Ok well my first is no surprise, bring back Tyler Hoechlin’s Superman, I so badly want to see him again in two episodes. One where he maybe had small episode arc with Jimmy. Maybe it can be a B plot in an episode so those two investigate something while Kara does something else but connect the two in a way so the ultimate end goal is the same. Infact maybe they could do this in a Cadmus story and wrap up the Dean Cain arc that they pretty much abandoned in Season 2. I also think it would be great to have Kara go to Metropolis for an episode and we could meet this universes Lois Lane.

Let’s have Lena meet up with Lex in prison too. Just give us one or two scenes with him and make a great piece of casting.

Take us to the future and bring in more Legion members. Again this would be a story I’d do as a two parter. Maybe this is how you bring Winn back for X amount of episodes (no idea what is expected of him next season).

Other than that let’s see some villains come back and go back to the comic book well and bring in some new villains too. I’d actually love to see the Kryptonite Man.

Agree about Argo City. An interspecies dynamic tugging at Kara (and Clark) would be nice to see. I think I would like to see less DEO. Not gone, but put them more in the background with Alex acting as their interactions with Supergirl.

I was also thinking Ms. Martian, but with J'onn going walkabout that's less likely.

I would love to see a true Cyborg Superman arc, with Zor-El being used as a puppet by Brainiac as in the comics. He could finally kill Henshaw as the weaker version and take over the moniker, all without him really knowing who he is of course. This could allow for Heochlin to do more Superman stuff even if he is just playing the Cyborg version.

I want to see Kate Kane's Bat Woman as a love interest for Alex - and she could easily supplant Guardian, especially as she is really a dark vigilante.

I also want Super Woman though not as a regular of course. It's Supergirl's show but have that character introduced and have her come on a few eps per year like Superman. May even be easier to do, seeing Superman is restricted to only a few showings.

Come to think of it, Alura would be perfect for that! She's already been introduced and travel between Earth and Argo is as easy as the matter transmitter. I'd be in luv!!

Some Lex/Lena stuff would be cool too - as well as finally getting rid of the is she or is she not going to be evil schtick. Tired of that. We want evil Luthors let's stick with her mother and Lex. They fill the role pretty good.

I also want a clear Power Bible that will be adhered to! Make it clear exactly what Kara can and cannot do and stick with it! Also stop with depowering her whenever the Writers can't think up a hole from which to to get out of a bag with.

It's Supergirl, give her super strong enemies if you want her to be beaten. Like Reign, even though Reign could have been done better. An eclipse should not turn her powers off!!

Also more reporter time. As suggested above perhaps a new administration comes in and tightens up control of the DEO - if not outright shutting it down. One thing I really miss about Cat Co, other than Cat, is that the little room where Kara, Winn and James based themselves out of.

Those are just a few off the top of my head.

Agreed on on these. I've been wanting Ollie to cross over to Earth-38 for a while now. That's like my #1 crossover wish for any of these shows. I'd be much more excited for that than the next 4-show crossover.

It was nice to see Brainiac get a shout out in the finale by Brainiac 5, but I doubt we'll have any hope of seeing him as long as he's playing a major part on Krypton. So assuming he's off-limits, here are some other characters I'd like to see in the meantime:

-Intergang - So Morgan Edge can up his game.
-Mongul/Warworld - they've certainly teased it enough!
-Manchester Black/The Elite - the speculation on those casting sides got me excited for the possibilities there.
-And tying into BB/HHH's requests - More Lillian. Cadmus does not feel resolved.
-Lanterns. Yeah, I know this one's a very long shot, but it's starting to feel like it's time. Earth-38 has now (for the most part) accepted their alien population and has faced the fact that there are other civilizations out there, more than once. It's time they learn their place in the greater universe and Lanterns are the best way to do that. And the dramatic possibilities of a Red Lantern Supergirl storyline are too great to ignore forever. IF they can get permission, of course. I think that's the big question mark.
-Lois Lane - I've said I want more Reporter Kara Danvers, and what better way to get that than to team her up with her legendary reporter cousin-in-law (or future cousin-in-law?). I've mentioned before that I want to see Kara go to Metropolis for an episode or two-parter to help Clark out for a change, and that would also be the perfect time to do a story like this. And if they can't use Supes again for whatever reason, they could have him go missing and have that be the impetus for her trip.
-Cyborg Zor-El -I feel like Alura's talk of his death has been vague enough to still allow for some version of this. Especially now that they've established that there were nefarious forces at work in Argo the whole time.
-I'd love to see Mr. Mxyzptlk return, maybe this time with his wife in tow.
-Xenon - you gotta admit, a character hellbent on hunting and killing Supergirls across the multiverse could go a long way to explain her absence on the other Earth's we've seen thus far.

As much as I'd also like to see this, I'm not sure how, or even why it would ever happen. Ollie doesn't have an automatic portal to Earth-38, and he's not capable of creating one; Barry/Cisco (and in turn, Star Labs) have the ability, and even they don't visit very often (as far as we know anyway).

If Kara ever needed to come to Earth-1, it's much more likely that she'd seek out Barry and the Star Labs Team than Ollie & Team Arrow. Kara & Barry are more evenly matched, I'm not quite sure what could possibly bring Ollie & Kara together whilst excluding Barry.
