Kara must help Hank face his painful past when a White Martian, a member of the alien race that wiped out his people, kidnaps Senator Miranda Crane (Tawny Cypress), an anti-alien politician. Also, Cat’s estranged son, Adam (Blake Jenner), arrives in National City, on SUPERGIRL, Monday, Jan. 25 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

Looks like we will be getting a good dose of Martian Manhunter in this episode.

This is also the debut of Melissa's husband Blake Jenner guest starring as Cat Grant's oldest son, Adam Foster.

That thing looks freakin' scary.

I wonder if that's the natural appearance of a White Martian, and conversely, if J'onn's green man look is the natural appearance of a Green Martian. I suspect only one of those is actually the case. Either the White Martian is deliberately shifting into a more bestial form for cultural or psychological reasons, or J'onn deliberately created a more humaniform "alien form" as part of trying to better fit in.

I really want to know what Miranda Crane is.

A bit of a hypocrite if you ask me. She is portrayed as someone who is anti-alien which turns some of the populace against Supergirl but she is an alien HERSELF, perhaps one of those white aliens who are meant to haunt John Jones/MM's past life on Mars.

I got a feeling that it isn't a white martian, but a green martian in shape shifting disguise. I wouldn't be surprised if Miranda Crane turns out to be Ma'alefa'ak (Jonn's evil brother, responsible for the extinction of Jonn's race). If the writers were to introduce a white martian, Ms Martian is a possibility further down the line.
