Episode 14, Monday Feb. 22: We have to wait a little longer than usual for this episode, thanks to "The Grammys"...I mean really, "The Grammys"?

Here is the Synopsis...

Supergirl does battle with the deadly Master Jailer (Jeff Branson), who is hunting and executing escaped Fort Rozz prisoners. Also, Cat hires a second assistant, Siobhan Smythe (Italia Ricci), who immediately tries to one-up Kara, and Kara and James disagree over the DEO’s methods.
AND, the Silver Banshee is on the way....

Hmmmm...I think you are right.

and they even had a promo on cbs where rihanna and jim nantz flip a coin to see who goes first, the superbowl or the grammy's?, nantz wins and rihanna says shes worth the wait, wtf....why are they having it on a monday then?

This should be a good episode.

I wonder if this Krypton Fort Rozz story will lead to the comics storyline, New Krypton.

That is a very big possibility...

ah i didnt know if the actress was going to be a recurring for a few episodes or a one off for now deal like livewire was.

No, she is a recurring character...and I wouldn't write Livewire off too soon.

no i mean that so far was going to be powered in said episode she appears in and then off the board to they want to use her again.

She is going to be a Catco employee very close to Cat it seems so not sure how many of those she will simply be an employee and then turns full on into Silver Banshee.

It sounds like there will be somewhat of a build up, in that it is being thought that she may be Winn's new love interest, as well as a new mentee interest of Cat's, as well as a nemesis to Kara in the office. That could take place over a couple of episodes before we see the Banshee...

I know that Ep. 14 is supposed to have some tremendous fight scenes, but again, not sure if they are between Kara and Silver Banshee or another villain....since we have the Flash crossover 4 episodes later....and Indigo coming at some point....maybe 3 episodes with some Fort Rozz villains in between??????

ya well what ever they do curious to see how they have banshee play out.

Interesting Title.
Much better than "Truth Justice and all of that stuff"

This is a neat little article. Turns out that “American Way” wasn’t always the way.

Truth, Justice and (fill in the blank)

I have some of the Superman radio shows on CD and the opening spiel had announcer Jackson Beck saying Superman would be fighting "A never ending battle for truth and justice." I think there is an error on the NY Times part (then again they always seem to make errors as the so-called paper of record). I don't think The American Way part was heard on radio, but on the TV show as announced by Bill Kennedy. Beck did indeed on the Filmation Superman show say "Truth, Justice and Freedom."

The American Way was brought back for the intro to the short-lived 1988 Ruby Spears animated Superman show on CBS. Bill Woodson, the announcer on Superfriends from 1977-1985 did the opening for that show.

That is a very big possibility...

Reason I brought up New Krypton is because that was more about Supergirl than Superman. We could see Nightwing, Flamebird, and Lucy Lane as Superwoman out of it.

I don't think the show will need Kandor since they have Fort Rozz, unless Indigo will have it.

Well, one thing we know about Indigo is that she has a connection to Non and Ft. Rozz....

It seems like they announced Indigo would be a villain, while this episode was being shot....not sure, could be wrong on that timeline.

The radio show ran for 11 years (from 1940-51). And according to the article (which cites Mark Waid), “American Way” was only used for two of those years (from 1942-44). So your CD episodes might have come from either before or after this period.

Bottom line: the phrase isn't as universal (or sacrosanct) as many folks believe it to be.

maybe they just downplaying indigo stuff for the descriptions/etc..... stuff and she is still there. Or her episode/appearance got moved?

Who knows, just one of those things that we have to wait and see.... :)

ya its not like they have to reveal everything for each episode. For all we know we will see indigo in trailer for episode or episode clips.
