What are you looking forward to?

I absolutely love the idea of a superhero truly finding the hero within, WITHOUT their superpowers.

It seems reminiscent of, aging myself, an episode of speaking of beautiful strong blondes She-Ra, Princess of Power called "The Stone in the Sword" (by the way, happy 30th Anniversary to She-Ra).

The highlight I remember is after She-Ra destroyed Hordak's Doom Balloon the intensity of the fight changed She-Ra back to Princess Adora (Prince Adam/He-Man's sister). Adora tries to say her phrase "For The Honor of Greyskull" holding the sword aloft, but it's no use. A stone in her sword of protection, the source of her power, cracked.

It was up to Adora to find her own heroine within to fix the sword.

You can find out what happened here.

I've been wanting a proper He-Man/She-Ra/Masters of the Universe film for so long!! that has soooooooooo much potential!!

if only that would happen, both animated and live action. It would good for super and girl too.

I know they've been talking about it for awhile and supposedly there's a director attached. but it seems we never get anything concrete.

but yeah....I'm talking a Lord of the Rings/epic fantasy style Masters of the Universe film.

and yes, I want to see Supergirl in the DC film universe, too.

To get us back on topic a little... ;)

Here is another preview...not any longer, but with some different scenes.

Kelly, my bad for having to bring up a comparison between She-Ra and Supergirl and have it go a little off the rails. Guess I was like Dr. Morrow.

Lots of Advertising for this episode on CBS this weekend. Great ad time during all football games yesterday, and today. Awesome to see!

We will see if Supergirl shows a rise this episode considering it no longer airs against Gotham. I know I would certainly have watched it if it wasn't and I will do so now. I think CBS made a terrible mistake giving it that timeslot in the first place.

Is this guy supposed to be one of Despero's ilk?

I feel each story is working well (although there's an odd contrast between the DEO stuff and the other stuff). But I can't help but wonder if they're moving too fast with Henshaw. It's hard to wind back what happened there.

Well...that was something.

Holy....****.

That was probably the first moment of genuine surprise. Very cool.

I really dismissed the idea, so that was a surprise.

Well hot dog diggity. They really should've had him eat some oreos though before this reveal.

And hopefully the real Hank Henshaw is still alive because talk about a waste of a major villain.

Oh. Em. Gee. We've known for a while that Hank wasn't who we thought he was. But...

MARTIAN MANHUNTER?? :eek::eek:

What an awesome reveal that was!

Yeah, definitely not who I thought he was. A tad disapointed, I guess. But damn, does he look good. Red Tornado is definitely an outlier, since Gem looked good as well.

Loved the scene with Kara and the burgler.

And good to know the next episode starts off running.

Besides [BLACKOUT]Dean Cain Cyborg Superman is on the table, baby!!!![/BLACKOUT]
