I know Snyder likes to encourage his fans, but there is no ****ing way that was his plan.

If anything, he was praising the guy’s idea, not validating it.

Reminds me of me thinking "no way they're going to kill Superman in the second film of DCFU" a few month prior to BvS premiere.

That line sounds like something Trump would say. I'm serious.

"THINGS FALL ON EARTH. VERY BIG THINGS. THE BIGGEST THINGS. ON EARTH, WHICH IS ALSO VERY BIG. AND WHEN THEY FALL, THEY'VE FALLEN. THEY HAVE THE BEST FALLS."

God I’m so glad this guy is done. Snyder did some good stuff during the 2000’s but he lost his mind and became embarrassingly self indulgent during the 2010’s

He should go back to making smaller budget movies like Dawn of the Dead.

He's mentioned wanting to end up in Injustice, so Lois getting pregnant was likely in the plans. Just not this coked up fever dream this kid was espousing.

Yep, this is what I imagine to be the case as well. And sorry, I had zero interest in seeing anything like that play out, so I’m not feeling we were “robbed” of anything except more years of me hating the big screen incarnation of my favorite character. JL wasn’t exactly the ideal way to go, but I’m glad someone at least put a stop to this plan.

I was beyond certain the Doomsday trailer was a deliberate misdirect, because obviously there’s no way they’d do something so plainly stupid and premature.

That whole monologue sounds like something from an especially pretentious high school creative writing student.

This stuff is really, really sad.

What Snyder is doing, I mean. The guy can’t seem to let his failure go, and move on. It’s one thing for a bunch of internet geeks to chew over movies long after they’ve been and gone, but for the director to do it? He seems obsessed with proving he has this grand master plan that he didn’t get to unveil, because nobody liked what he’d already put out.

I blast Snyder for the terrible job he did of portraying my favourite character, but the guy lost a child, and now he’s constantly doing this kind of stuff.

Like I say, it’s genuinely really sad.

Snyder's career doesn't need anyone's pity. Personally, of course, I can't imagine what he and his family have gone through. But professionally? The man's doing just fine. It's not like he's been blacklisted or anything. I'm sure most of us would kill to be in his professional shoes.

Snyder's pretty obsessed with this whole Justice League bull****, but then again...from what I'm seeing here a lot of people are still weirdly obsessed with Snyder.

Snyder's Batman is even more of a fascist than Judge Dredd.

Joseph Dredd feels like Elliot Ness from the Untouchables, he's the guy who does his job by the book and does it as efficiently as possible, more so than having his own political alignment.

Isn't that par for the course with most big budget genre films these days? Factor in reshoots and I'm surprised it's not 300 and above like Solo.

Aquaman is a billion dollar property, Shazam looks to be a massive hit, the FF are about to be in the MCU, and Sony just managed to make one of the best superhero films of the past decade. Things are looking great.

OK. All things considered... I would watch a Judge Dredd movie directed by Snyder. Mainly because its appropriate within his wheelhouse.

Gotta catch Into the Spiderverse when it releases on home video. Superhero animation seems to be undergoing a renaissance as well with this and Teen Titans Go! To The Movies.

Coincidentally, this is also what Snyder fans tell themselves every time they're about to watch a new comic book movie. :o
