I wouldn't know. I get my Snyder news from here.
Although it concerns me that Venom made a lot more money than Into the Spider-Verse. We don't want Sony getting the wrong idea.
I think the critical reception of Spider-verse (hoping for that Oscar) will help separate them. And the legs on Spider-verse is amazing. And I have a feeling that it is going to blow up in Japan, which will keep the parent company very happy.
They've already shot their load in announcing ItS-V sequel & spinoff talent. Their box office threshold in franchising animated movies has already been met.
Please god, no. Snyder’s way of making films would not suit Dredd at all. He’d miss the point completely, and make it an action movie about a futuristic cop.
Dredd should only ever be handled by a British director. The character and setting are one gigantic satire and parody on US culture, and an American wouldn’t do it justice, because they’re part of the thing being satirised.
I know I'm late to the party, but I finally saw Aquaman today. I quite enjoyed it, probably on the same level as Wonder Woman in the ranking of DCEU films but for different reasons.
It's gonna be a remake of Watchmen. Who judges judgemen? It will be a spectacular collection of references. Dredd will be a religious reference too. Judge Death is an Antichrist figure, there should be a Christ too.
...things seen in Dredd and Snyder movies
people are barely even trying anymore
It can't be as bad as Stallone in the 90s action flick.
But I see your point.
well that's some BS right there... since when can one not satirize their own culture??
I think everyone from Orwell to Shakespeare to Aesop to friggin Trey Parker and Matt Stone would disagree with you there
Directed by Danny Cannon — a Brit (who's now working on Pennyworth).
I think it can be handled by an American director who understands how to do satire on his country.
That movie is much better than people give it credit, even Rob Schneider is impressively better than his well known reputation for that movie.
Put it this way... Dredd is a massive p***take of America when done right. It’s not very nice about US culture at all. I don’t see any US movie companies putting money into a project that does that. I don’t see a US director interested in making something like that, at that scale. I stand to be corrected, though.
I need a Mysterio avatar in my life, LOL!
I mean, come on. Just say that it is a british creation, and that you think only somone british should make it.
The Spidey trailer looked good and it really made me want to see more of Mysterio. That was a nice, really comic booky suit.
Stupid Marvel making me hyped about something that's three films away.
Lol. Agreed. Looks pretty sweet
The end gag is played out well.
For a trailer, I was surprised and thought all the gags hit the mark. Also, why do I geek out every time I hear the classic spidey theme.
I don’t think I’m capable of getting hyped for a Spidey movie anymore, but I am looking forward to finally seeing my favorite Spidey villain in action. Mysterio looks good.
You have good taste in Spidey villains
Still haven’t seen Homecoming but I’ll be watching it soon to prepare for FFH.
Watched the trailer. So much for Infinity War.
You mean Marvel didn't keep half the universe snapped? I am shocked and appalled! I expected it to be permanent! No more Spider-Man or Black Panther movies ever!!!!
