Followed by Thor, X-Men, then GL. I won't even rank Hornet.

You know, you could have just said The First Avenger: Captain America instead of posting that really big pic. :oldrazz:

1. Captain America
2. Thor
3. Conan the Barbarian
4. X-Men: First Class
5. Green Hornet
6. Green Lantern

X-Men First Class without a doubt. When I heard there was gonna be a fifth X-Men movie.... well lets just say I had my doubts, but this film in my opinion managed to save the franchse. I consider Thor and Cap to be about tied. Oddly enough where one movie falls short the other delivers. Cap had more of an emotional impact and managed to be an all around fun movie. Thor on the other hand had several outstanding performances, with Chris being the perfect Thor, and Tom managing to pull off what has become Marvel Studio's best villian. Thor's action scenes were also more gripping.

5. First Class
4. Green Hornet
3. Thor
2. Captain America

okay, Thor is officially underrated.

Totally agreed, I dont get how back in May it was up there with the best comic book movies ever, and now people are saying stuff like its average at best, it just didnt become a different movie overnight.

For me, FC was the best CB movie of the year, but only Thor ran it close, and it was indeed close for me.

X: First Class, easily.

Thor i enjoyed as well. The rest i can easily forget.

Thor is insanely under-rated, when it first came out it was universally praised, now it gets far too much criticism when it was easily in the top 2 CB movies of the year.

I haven't personally seen any criticism hurled at Thor.

Green Hornet was amusing in places, but very mediocre in general. It should have been done as a serious, sleek action movie.

Thor improves every time I watch it. Like the first Spider-Man flick, it's not a great movie, but it is tremendously entertaining. There are sequences in Thor that get closer to bringing Jack Kirby's imagination to life than any other Marvel flick (the most Kirby-esque movie ever though is still Masters of the Universe). It needed one more set-piece in the middle (Thor mud wrestling is a poor excuse for an action scene) and a stronger depiction of Thor learning humility (serving breakfast and saying thank you to people was not enough). Plus, like so many of these movies, it has the action scenes in the wrong order. Thor and his friends versus the Frost Giants was the biggest action scene, and it was at the beginning; the biggest, most spectacular action scene should always be at the end. But anyway...Branagh was an inspired choice to direct. The interplay between Odin, Loki and Thor is strong and unique for a superhero movie.

X-Men: First Class was the best of the year. The only real fault is that the action scenes felt obligatory and didn't amount to much. Also, if you've got so many X-Men to choose from, why pick Havok and Banshee? Nevertheless, First Class completely reinvigorates the series and creates a new star in Fassbender. The best in the series since X2.

Green Lantern was, of course, a huge letdown. Full of cliches, weak performances, lame action scenes...GL had so much cinematic potential. Martin Campbell is a master of gritty action movies. Wolverine or the Punisher, he could do. Why he was chosen for the space opera of GL is baffling.

Captain America has a solid set-up, but falls apart. Once Steve Rogers has become a hero, there is no further character development, just lame cliches. This movie is so bad at intergrating action scenes that they genuinely seem inserted at random. At the climax, supposedly the most exciting point of the movie, I was ready to go to sleep and waiting for the credits.
