Hey everyone.

I wanted to take an opportunity, in case it hasn't been done yet, to showcase and gain awareness for one of my absolute favorite Superhero Film Review shows.

The show is called "Superhero Rewind" and it's conducted by Geekvolution's Captain Logan, who has, in my opinion, one of the most incredibly analytical and critical minds for reviewing these movies.

He's already reviewed nearly 100 American Superhero films in his quest to review them all and every single one of them is fascinating and insightful.

Here's a sample episode with his Review of "X-Men Origins: Wolverine"

Great stuff.

Anyway here's the link to the YouTube channel the show can be found on. Definitely worth checking out if you love Superhero films and love critical and well made reviews of them:

A fantastic series.

Logan goes incredibly in-depth with his analysis of each film, even the notoriously bad ones.

the guy's a great critic, he does such a thorough analysis, but god does his voice get on my nerves.

It's an acquired sound to be sure and takes a while, but it gets easier the more reviews you listen to.

annoying voice notwithstanding, the guy had me until he rated batman forever higher than batman returns.

I've been watching that series for years ever since his 1st review(I think it was Superman: DoomsDay). I always enjoy reviews when the reviewer is articulate and reasoned and Logan is just that. I probably only agree with his conclusions maybe 2/3 of the time but even when I disagree it's still enjoyable to tune in and watch/listen to him. I also enjoyed Vince's Horror Movie Rewind reviews even though he hasn't done one in a really long time now.

I agree in some ways at that. I'm not a fan of Batman Returns either.

Anyway, I must say that I love the series.

Batman Returns is a terribly put together and directed film. In many ways, it's worse than Batman and Robin.

It's a genius look at Bruce Wayne's psychosis, an homage to German Expressionism and an angry feminist rant. It's probably not a good action blockbuster.

Love this guy. I think the only review where I've disagreed with him (of movies I've seen of course) is The Phantom, which I regarded much less favorably. But to each his own.

I also loved his Batman Forever review. It helped me to realize how much I've always enjoyed that movie, despite it's glaring flaws and bad omens.

Captain Logan's TDK review is up, and it's his second longest after Watchmen

I started watching his videos last summer and I became highly addicted. His intelligent, humorous and thought provoking reviews have made me quite a fan. If I'm ever bored, I find myself watching his reviews and sometimes on numerous occasions.

Captain Logan's TDK review is up, and it's his second longest after Watchmen

This review was fantastic and summed up everything on why TDK is my favorite movie ever.
