Superhero RPGs excitement with the boom of Comic movies?

I know the Marvel Heroes MMO is out and fun to play but of course everything is coded and has limitations in a online game or video game.

I love my video games but also have a RPG blood line. I played the old Marvel RPG game back in the late 80's. Never got into other ones except Marvel based ones.

Then a couple of years back Marvel Heroic Roleplaying came out that totally fit the feel of the comics and movies without all extreme rules and extreme tracking of stats. Loved the hell out of that game and then about the time Disney took over Marvel, they pulled the license (April 2012). The game released the Basic Game and then the Civil War book, the other books never made it out to the shelves.

I heard Disney did a similar thing with Capcon Vs Marvel and pulled that license for video games.

Anyway, so for the RPG Super hero fans that really want to play Marvel or DC heroes in a story-driven way, without all the lawyering rules to manage... I think I found a new system on Kickstarter. DC had a short term RPG with the Mutants and Mastermind system but too many rules for my taste.

From what I read, this new Supers RPG is really grasping what Marvel Heroic Roleplaying did for Superhero gaming. Anyone jump on this KS yet? Looks wicked cool IMHO.

I love Marvel way more than DC but I love my Superhero movies and want to play a game just as if I was the hero in the movie.
