Since no one made a thread, I figured I would.
Just finished issue #2 which is part ONE from Scarlet Spider #20-Sibling Rivalry.
You must read this issue to appreciate just how off of the dead end SpOck is. To say he thinks a lot of himself is putting it mildly. Ego will be his downfall IMO.

I loved the team up 2 parter this week. It's a fun time to be a Spidey fan that's for sure.

It was a pretty nice read... though for whatever reason, the 2 parter really turned me off SpOck just a little bit... maybe it's because I've really grown to like Kaine a LOT!!!

I think you are also reacting to just how arrogant SpOck's whole "superior hero" delusion is. I'd love to get SpOck and Dr Doom in the same room. Talk about EGO MANIACS.

I'm enjoying the depth they have given Kaine. They've added so much more to his originally 1 dimensional character of the 90s (the whole "I'm the failed clone of Peter Parker so I will make the perfect clone, Ben Reilly's life hell just because" character). He considers Peter and Ben brothers and he tries to live up to Ben's memory now but still does what needs to be done. Basically he is dark and gritty Spider-Man done right.
