If he can translate this to the whole movie...we are looking at something truly special.

It looks really good. It doesn’t have the Gunn feel, ie GOTG trilogy. There are numerous scenes that feel like nods to SR, Snyder’s films (mainly the slo mo shots) and “Superman & Lois.” But this movie also has a personality all its own too.

Oh I don't know...The giant monster and brightness definitely has the suicide squad starfish monster feel, same with the suits and characters...very guardians of the galaxy vibe but in a better way.

I don't particularly like Gunn's sense of humor, his taste in music, or his visual style for the most part... but I like him. His stuff ALWAYS has heart, that's what hooked me into Peacemaker. Beyond the heartfelt stuff, Superman doesn't seem like an obvious choice for Gunn, but he's clearly killing it. For me, this is the CBM of 2025 by a country mile.

Quite liked it all in all, did what a teaser is supposed to, it teased me & made me want to see more.

For a teaser it sure had a lot of shots from a lot of different moments within the film, from what I can recall of the Superman Returns & Man of Steel teaser trailers, which were both good in their own right, seemed to focus on much less with only a brief shot of Superman.

Hands down the best bit of the trailer was the electric guitar bits of the soundtrack, I'm glad to see, presumably James Gunn, has also went through a similar phase that I have previously years ago searching YouTube for covers of things like Superman, Batman & Avengers themes played primarily on an electric guitar. Can't wait to hear more of the soundtrack as well as the main title theme for the film if the teaser is anything to go by.

I think it accomplishes exactly what Gunn was going for. Definitely intrigued.
