Comics Superman # 702 review!

Great review. I enjoy this issue as well featuring Superman helping people out in various ways. Superman is about hope, positivity, optimism, and there is plenty of that here. Before Grounded I hadn't enjoyed the Superman title since John Byrne's 1986-1988 run. I especially like the example of the sly sense of humor Siegel and Shuster intended Superman to have with the scene where he's playing basketball and gives the short skinny kid a chance and purposely loses to make the kid look good, plus giving the kid cool street cred.

The message of universal humanitarianism is continued with Superman getting aliens to help save a man's life and help Detroit's job market and improve health care.

And Batman mysteriously showing up intrigues me for next issue.
