Comics Superman Comics Reccomendations

^There are so many it would be hard to begin, you are right in getting KC first, great story, and the Death/World Without/Return of Superman trilogy is no only a damn good read but highly regarded as well.

I would read both John Bryne's Man Of Steel series and Birthright, BOTH of which I found superb for differing reasons.

Also, read Godfall, For Tomorrow Vol. 1 and 2, Sacrifice, The Journey and Up, Up and Away, though they are part of a big story arc that includes more books of varying quality.

Exile was also a pretty damn good read. Thats all that comes to mind at the moment, i'm sure others have some other suggestions and I may have a few more of my own in time. Anyway, i'm sure you'll enjoy getting back into the character.

Awesome, you're a monster, man, thanks. You're just the guy I'm looking for while going through the archives.

Not to be too much of a pain in the ass, the books you have just suggested, what order would you read them in?:supes:

^Here is a website that will help you out with the order:

http://tplist.millarworld.net/index.html

But for likes of Birthright, Kingdom Come, and All Star Superman which I own but havent read, but comes recommended by pretty much everyone, are all not in any continuity so you can read them anytime.

The books I decided to start out as of now are:

Kingdom Come
Superman: Exile
Superman: For all Seasons
Superman: It's a Bird
and
Superman: Red Son

I'll start off on these individual books first not to get confused with an order.

A recommendation I'd put out there is Lex Luthor: Man of Steel. The story tells the hero in Lex's eyes and the story is obviously dark and portrays Superman as the bad guy since it's told from Luthors point of view. Very good if you ask me.

^Its been recommended to me before, just havent gotten my hands on it yet. For All Seasons always comes highly recommended, but the artwork has always put me off. But KC and Exile are great reads.

What does everyone think of Superman: Ending Battle?

I've heard rave reviews?

Anyone disagree?
