if it does end up being jonah nolan i wish him the best of luck with his directual debut. Though i would perfer someone with at least a few films under their belt and at least have knowledge and skills in the visual effects and all that.

IESB's sources are also saying Chris Nolan will be shepherding all DC movies towards a Justice League movie which he will direct himself!

it would be interesting if that happens. But we will have to see when everything does fall into place. I hope things are finally on the up and up with wb on dc stuff. But to we actually have these films for superman and flash actually filming things could fall apart. But i hope for the best this time. I am really hoping with the change with Dc into DCE it has finally light a fire under WB's butts to get things to actually happen.

yea with all the non development of things for the past few yrs it is best to be second guessing any DC movie news. Look how long it took to get gl going, and we still havent had any others make real movements. But like it has been pointed out with the change of DC into DCE things have to finally be getting on track. Or they will just look like complete fools with not getting things going and happenings on things.

Hhhhhmmmmm, seems a choice that WB would go with, but he is inexperienced, and not sure he could pull off the epic action scene's a Superman movie would need, hell, I have doubts Chris Nolan could pull off that feat to be honest.

We've known for a while DCE was making a structural change, and that's come into effect in a huge way. Just a month ago we were unsure of Batman 3, and when Supes was going to be in action, if at all. Look where we are in a matter of 4 weeks. B3 is practically confirmed, and we have a story outline/writers/director of Superman (unconfirmed). That's insane. News has never flowed in this quick, which leads me to believe DC actually has gotten the ball rolling.

But you have no timeline. The WB is still a studio that has priorities. I know Harry Potter is ending but they aren't going to place all their eggs in the superhero tentpole basket.

I can see them doubling up but that would still only put them up to 2013 and Justice League in 2014. And that's assuming one of the movies doesn't disappoint.

We've got no timetable, but Nolan being involved almost assures it's on a fast-track. He's WBs golden boy, so there's a good chance it'll be off the ground had it been someone else handling the reigns.

yea i get that crook i was just stating how in the past things were talked about and poof nothing happened. But with the change with DC i do hope its finally changed things up with DC and WB and all that. For me i see batman 3 for 2012, superman probably 2012/2013 and maybe flash for 2013, then i would hope if WW gets into the mold i would put 2014 for her. Then leave JL for around 2015. Though things could change and maybe things will be out sooner then we expect.
