direct-to-DVD title coming this September
adapts several series of Superman comic continuity starting with the highly publicized "Death of Superman" series from 1993, followed by "A World Without Superman" and ultimately the return of the Man of Steel.
jam-packed audience of 4000
writers Bruce Timm and Duane Capizzi

Voicing the Man of Steel in Superman Doomsday is Adam Baldwin ("Firefly," "Day Break")
Convention favorite James Marsters ("Angel") voices Luthor

The movie itself surpassed my high expectations, exposing and overcoming many of the short-comings of Superman Returns, and frankly most of the Superman stories told in any medium.
Superman Doomsday is blessed with three foes, any of whom will give General Zod a run for his prior "best Superman screen villain" status.
this Lex Luthor is heartlessly mean, legitimately scary and entirely without "camp".
The fight between Superman and Doomsday is truly visceral.
By the time Superman's blood appears in battle, you'll believe he could die.
PG-13 rating
There's never been a DC adaptation with this much on-screen violence.
more complex relationship between Lois Lane (voiced by Anne Heche) and Superman
In live action, this would likely be a $400 million movie. It has raised the bar very high for any Superman Returns follow-ups.

the next project in the new DC Universe series -- Justice League: The New Frontier
Kyle MacLachlan as Superman, Lucy Lawless as Wonder Woman, Jeremy Sisto as Batman, Neil Patrick Harris as The Flash, and David Boreanaz as Hal Jordan / Green Lantern.

A third film in the series has been confirmed as Teen Titans: The Judas Contract.

there's a trailer for it on the 300 dvd. Looks cool to me.

ohh, there a link tot he trailer? anyone catch the movie at comic-con? we need reviews dammit!

sounds awesome. can't wait.

saw it on the 300 dvd and was floored...I cant wait

This film needs to be out NOW! Superman Returns has still soured my view of future Supes films.:cmad: Bruce Timm save us all!:woot:

"Like we really needed him to bust up a mechanical spider right? Lame!"
Pretty funny. I wonder whats going on while Kevin Smith's character says that line.

Are they trying to bring some "gay" vibe to Luthor??? The way he is talking about Superman in that clip is a little disturbing.

Then when he dies ..."Why did you leave me??"

Looks good. Hopefully more cartoons will follow it's lead in having some seriousness/adult themes in SH cartoon movies and series.

Exciting!

Superman and Luthor have always had sexual tension.:o

Deal with it.

It was handled really well in the film, added a domineering demension to Luthor. A great characterization.

How was it man?? Don't keep us waiting? LOL

It was absolutely great. Definately worth a buy. All the action is well done and the character development was excellent. Probably the best interpretation of Luthor I have ever seen. Also they make the Lois and Superman relationship really interesting. She's no idiot.
This film is very well done, I just hope it makes enough money to inspire more adaptations. The DC UNIVERSE DTV's blow MARVEL's stuff away.

How was Adam Baldwin as Superman's voice?
He was different than the other Superman voices we've heard, but he was really good. It worked. Same with Luthor. I loved Clancy Brown's Luthor, but this one grows on you too.
