I'm very curious to see how far they go with the Death plot.

Part of me wonders if the 'bold' thing they are going for is him being dead/missing all season and only appearing in flashbacks...

I don't want that... but I dunno, the thought keeps pestering me.

I guess it's my fault for expecting a full blown trailer since, I don't know, that's the implication I got from "TOMORROW + camera," but I can wait until next Saturday for a full look.

I can already picture it now. Tyler's Superman is gone from all of the present-day scenes in Seasom 4, only to finally return in a post credit cameo at the very end.

Fear the Walking Dead did something similar with its fourth season and time jump forward, with the revelation of some characters being dead already, and others who died in the present appearing again, but only in flashbacks.

Didn't go over well.

Wonder if it’ll sort be similar to the first season where they had Martha Kent in flashbacks here or there in some episodes to have that character’s presence still maintained and be felt, but maybe to not as much of an extent.

Looks like it's going to be an emotional final season. I'm so behind this show and just want it to end in the way that it deserves, a way that we'll always remember.

Can't have such a great Clark and hide him away for a big chunk of the season. I don't make the rules, if they wanted to do that they should have given us a ****tier Clark.

We have to remember that Tyler will be in 10 episodes so an episode or two would see him in flashbacks.

I hope Tom Cavanagh plays Pariah from Crisis On Infinite Earths.

Be interesting to see how the tackle this storyline, as it seems to be loosely based on the Death of Superman comic run. In that, Doomsday effectively died at the same time as Superman from those final massive punches they both threw, but it appears from this trailer he’s still very much alive. So either Jordan takes him on (if possible, is he anywhere near as strong as his dad yet?) or Supes somehow returns for round 2. If so I wonder if he’ll do a sun dip for a massive power up like he did before in the show.

I mean, it's definitely a cool action sequence. Just waiting to see how they handle the aftermath!

It's both sad and amazing that a TV show (Much less on the CW) can produce a better Doomsday fight than a film with $200 Million Plus Budget. Unlike the fight in BvS, you actually see Superman getting the life beaten out of him which is ironic given Zack Snyder's taste for violence.

My only regret is that we never got to see Tyler's Superman face off against a live action version of Brainiac.
