I can only ask one question.....

    WHY?

I understand some people do not like Lois Lane, but why attempt to add this element....AGAIN?

I am not currently reading comics, but I am curious as to why anyone would support this ship. What's so wrong with keeping Lois/Superman/Clark?

I am despondent this is actuallly being put in canon....:csad:

Breaking up Clark and Lois was a death nail for me. Figures they'd go the obvious route and ship Superman with Wonder Woman.

I really don't see it lasting long.

Then again, I didn't think the reboot itself would be successful enough to last a year :( Some things I still like, but others just try my patience.

Not surprised. They've pulled this card enough times in Elseworlds (and in post-Crisis canon) - plus the Superman/Lois relationship being another aspect of the mythos affected by the The Lawsuit - that, like the trunks, I believe it was only a matter of time before DC felt brave enough to try to make a serious attempt to ditch it.

I really don't see this as a big deal. This isn't the first time and lawsuit or not, Superman and Lois will be together again. I mean it took those CK and LL something like 60 years to get married and now he and Wonder Woman are happily ever after just from one kiss.

I have always sort of liked the idea of a Superman/Wonder Woman Romance. So I am stoked on it, however I would imagine that it wouldn't last forever and he will inevitably end up with Lois

Meh, after Crisis on Infinite Earths they went ahead and made Batman and Wonder Woman a couple, but in the end of the day all 3 end up with the same old couple:
Superman/ Lois Lane, Batman/ Catwoman, Wonder Woman/ Steve Trevor

Batman and Wonder Woman romance after COIE? I know that pretty much immediately after Crisis in Action 600 they show a one issue Superman/Wonder Woman romance but I dont know of a Batman one.

I've been reading up on some of the changes implemented for Lois in the New 52 and I'm....disgusted and saddened.

    http://www.denofgeek.com/books-comics/22426/new-52-superman-gets-a-new-romance

Wow...I grow up with this character and the Lois/Clark/Superman relationship is one of the dynamics that made me love the mythos. Unfortunately, I can't get on board with this, so I won't be reading anymore DC comics. Seriously, if it wasn't for the new movie coming and the fact that I love DCAU. I would just say screw DC all together, but from here on out. I will not buy another issue of DC comics...and since those are the only ones I read then I guess I won't be reading comics anymore.

I'll still read my old issues, but I won't be buying anything new.

I don't no much about the relationship other than it is kind of uninteresting. I already find superman kind of boring (he is gradually getting better but it is taking the longest route) but this is just a smack to the face. I mean what sounds more appealing: "superhero who is practically a god dates a citizen who treats his alter ego like a goof" or "superhero dates another superhero who share similar powers, personality, and viewpoints." Sure the latter may work but it is nowhere near as interesting as the former. I am also a fan of the WonderWoman/Batman relationship.

JL/JLU sold me on WW and Bats.

My thing with Wondy and Supes is one of them gets degraded from hero to love interest, and it's not Superman. I dislike the pairing for other reasons as well, but it's such a cheap route. I know fanboys have dreamed about super sex and all that...but really...really?

Unfortunately due to someone's recommendation I have actually read a few issues of 52. Some were not bad, but I won't be purchasing them on a regular until Wondy/Supes is finished.

By the way welcome to the Hype. Hope you have a blast.

Good! Most modern comics (especially DC) = depressing trash. I'm glad I'm not a kid reading my first comic today, It would've scared me away from comics, with all the OTT violence and gore.

I was born in 1987, must have been the early nineties. Most of the comics I read were older ones, 50s-80s.

Hmmm...interesting. I don't really have a feel for this current reboot. I haven't read much of the 52, but I did break my word and read a few issues. *shrugs* Comics are always changing...always, and sometimes for the worse. I still can't get on board with this Wondy/Supes thing.

I hate it too. You don't mess with the Superman/Lois relationship... What's next, Bruce Wayne's parents are still alive, but abducted by aliens called Joechillians?

I have no idea what's next, which is why I'm not reading the 52. I'm not interested in finding out.

I wouldn't doubt that's next. Nothing would surprise me with the new 52.

I'll also add Lori Lemaris to the list too!

In all honesty, that ship doesn't bother me too much. It gives something new for Superman plus Lois treats Clark so poorly in the comics I find, always chasing "the rockstar" while Wonder Woman respects both sides.

    This video sums it up:

If you really are a Lois/Clark fan, at least the movies are improving the character and maybe use Diana to perhaps test and validate Lois/Clark?
