Do you think this would be a good episode idea for Smallville?

You could have Clark split into two people... one could be wearing a red shirt and blue jacket, the other could be wearing a blue shirt and red jacket. They would both have different subtle personalities not good versus evil. Like, one of them could be attracted to Lois while the other one goes for Lana(I believe something like this happened in an imaginary story of the comics as well)

Well, they already sorta did that with Lex in Onyx, doubt they'd do it again.

Crusade sorta had the bad side of Clark as well...

The superman red and Blue era, was the worse era in modern superman comics. Why would you want to bring that mess of a storyline to smallville?

Superman/Red and Blue was not that bad. It would have worked if the did it to Conner (which I preferred) or some new hero altogether but the problem was they did it to Superman and it was not needed.

It was dumb idea period, ask anyone who had to live through it. Alot of 90s superman comics sucked balls.

I have the whole run of Superman Red and Blue and it wasn't dumb it was just done to the wrong hero and from what I have seen (here and BT) fans agree that it was a good idea and cool costume just done to the wrong hero.

I'm not talking about the 'next gen' superman red and blue of the 90's.

There was a single 'what-if' type of story from way back, probably the 60's or 70's that had superman with the original costume split into a red and blue version of himself. It ended with one of them marrying Lana, and the other Lois.

Also Onyx is completely different, because it had to do with GOOD and EVIL. Same thing with Crusade... just because you have a character split into two doesn't automatically mean one of them's a bad guy.
