Not a bad start for the revival of the Superman franchaise.

Hhmmm, i know what you mean, i've watched SR what must be 40 times now, and its very rare that i dont THOROUGHLY it. BUT, i think there are a few factor's that dont make it quite the best one out there. As you can see in my sig though, it makes the top 5.

The thing is....the ranking tends to factor in old school superhero classics as well and those tend to get really high reviews.

I dont see how, IMO the best of today's CB movies are better than the so-called classics.

I'll agree with that. As far as all time I'd put it behind S:TM and Burton's Batman movies.

This list is laughable but SR should be in the 40's - 60's, and how is "Superman: The movie" Not in the top 5? Spiderman 2 really did ROCK but it shouldn't be infront of Superman: The Movie.

Well I have no problem with SR being at the position it is, sure, I would have loved to see it in the top 10 but I can live with that. However, I do think that SM2's 1 st rank is very well deserved, because it was certainly the complete superhero movie, be it in terms of character development, thrilling action sequences or the overall entertainment value of the movie. Definitely would rate amongst the top 5. STM is a classic and it initiated this genre in a great way but it too would come second in a comparison against SM2. And, I say that despite being a Superman fan to the core.

YEA I don't agree with this list! Superman: The Movie should be much closer to number 1!

It's about the reviews, Spidey one and two got better reviews by more critics. Personally I think that 17 is way to high for SR and the first and second Supe movies need to be put on the worse list's if anything.

Top 10 worst movie ever list right? Because that's about where it belongs... As for Spiderman 1 & 2 being overrated! hahaha Dude those movies were awesome! Even the flawed Spiderman 3 was light years away better then Singerman Returns.

Thats all I have to say about that list

as for SR its a decent movie one way or the other even if you dont like the superkid angle, the movie still has it, its not the greatest but its definitely in the better half of superhero films
