Superman Returns Superman Soars to the Top (DVD)

It should be a good indicator of U.S. sales and rentals. Although I'd prefer to see a number and not just a number one spot (which was to be expected to begin with).

Pirates 2 just got released (Dec. 5th), it won't last.

The point is that a Superman movie hasn't been #1 in the HV charts since...since...probably since the 80ties. They succeeded to relaunch the franchise.

It's clear that the POTC2 will sell more dvds, but even Batman Begins was not the best selling movie in the home video market

The target for SR is to top the BB's sales in the long term.

I am sure that as long as Warner is making money off the s*** load of Superman DVD's they've released, they are going to be happy campers.

I haven't seen hardly any Pirates advertising on TV, I figured it'd be promoted better than SR.

The final fight continue !:hyper: Lol ;)

We all knew it would get number one...still where are the sales numbers for the U.S?

After visiting Box office Mojo, I have to ask.......does Scott Holleran like ANY movie? I swear the guy hates damn near everything.

I haven't seen one single, solitary positive review come out of Scott Holleran. It makes you wonder why he even watches movies. He obviously expects way too damn much out of the artform. Not every movie is going to be perfect.
