Superman vs. Hulk: epic, brutal bloodbath

Awesome. I love it when Superman kicks ass.

well it's not like we'll ever really get to see the fight happen with a clear winner so this is the closest thing

I loved seeing Nightwing get shredded by Flash's fists. The whole film was great.

Yeah I got like 6 emails asking me to cut this out and post it on the internet by itself so here are the Superman vs. Hulk scenes. No kryptonite, no "infinite rage bs", no solar powered charge ups, and hopefully no fanboy whining.

That was awesome, but not as awesome as watching Wolverine get toasted by Cyclops. Fans dream come true. :word:

I liked it, was pretty funny. The part where Superman was kicking Hulk's azz & his theme was playing was awesome.

I went and saw the whole thing. Even though I really don't agree with the outcome of the fight, it was very entertaining and well made.:woot:

Superman could own anyone. This coming from someone who doesn't even like Supes that much.

That was great.

OK maybe not Odin but yeah pretty much everyone else. Some would put up a fight like Surfer, Thor or Sentry but they would all lose.

Comic Book Guy Jeff Albertson makes some pretty good points. .....

I saw the entire thing a few weeks ago. I thought it was all great and Wolverine + the "That Guy" made it hilarious. Very entertaining.

Please. Surfer would absorb all of Superman's solar energy in a heartbeat. :word:

Well I was refering to Hulk, but again I'm not here to get into a debate.

I appreciate that.

The whole reason "Comic Book Guy" pops into the film is to mock the nerd debates about who would win in a fight.

I mean, I'm a Superman fan but he didn't win the fight because I'm a Superman fan. I'm also a fan of Green Arrow and The Question but Green Arrow isn't kicking ass in the film and The Question isn't even in it.

I had Superman win the fight because the whole story is basically the ultimate tribute to superheroes in general. The opening scene starts with Superman's birth, questionably the beginning of superhero lore as we know it. If you put aside your favorites and bias, it's hard to argue that Superman isn't the "godfather" of superheroes. He's number one and he's pretty much "the king". Ask most people who their favorite superhero is and they'll probably say Wolverine or Batman. Ask who the greatest superhero of all time is and they'll probably say Superman. Even non-comic and non-movie fans know who he is.

I wasn't trying to say that Superman SHOULD be your favorite hero by having him win. I was having the villains systematically erase superheroes from the Earth one by one. When you strip the entire culture of comics down to it's bare core and essence, the last piece is Superman. That's all. He may or not be the best character. Doesn't matter. He's "the greatest" in more ways than any of the others are, though some are better in certain aspects. It was more about history and paying tribute than about "who'd win in a fight?"

To be fair, I even gave Batman a "cool" scene with the Joker at the end of the main film to make up for how much we made fun of him.

It's not meant to be bias or whatever... it's just for fun. I've read online that it's "just more Superman propaganda".

Give me a break.

^Yeah, I got all that. And I enjoyed the film for what it was, even though I'm not a Superman fan. Bravo!

Hulk would simply kill Superman. Unlike after the tussle with the Hulk clone Doomsday, Supes would have to stay dead this time.

Yep.

Marvel already showed how this should play out twice now.

Hulk beat the crap out of Gladiator (Marvel's version of Superman pre-Sentry days)

Hulk beat Sentry in a titanic tussle in World War Hulk.

Either way, the Hulk is a more complex character and should be written to win.

It all depends on popularity really, and Superman is more popular currently.

I wonder in the coming years when Thor faces off against Hulk in the eventual Avengers movie, that people and a younger generation will find Hulk more entertaining.

Maybe then, the tide for Hulk will tip in his favor.
