Great season finale, love the way the producers keep bringing back the devil's trap and the different ways they think of to use it. Nice setup for season three and bringing closure to the Yellow Eyed Demon storyline.

Yeah, not to mention the Army guy had a pretty poor motivation. I mean unleashing hell on earth because they won't let you back into the army? Come on. Selfish bastard. Even if he would have been tried and sent to prison that is still pretty damn selfish.

And hey, I guess the YED figured no-one would be able to get a shot off on him. I mean he had things perfectly under control until John showed up. And who could have said that they saw that one coming?

If Jake shot him. YED would've been dead on the spot. He's no longer a threat to the family.

In case other demons decide to carry out YED's threats. The rate Jake's power were growing. He would've been powerful enough to *****slap any of them.

LMAO. Props to Eric Kripke and company for writing this finale with the thought that it could be the last episode of the series. Very smart move, because not only does this terrific finale bring closure, but it also still sets up Season 3. Brilliant.

Who else thinks that YED was telling the truth about Dean ressurecting something that wasnt 100% Sam? I mean, when Sam killed Jake, he looked pretty hardcore.

I'd agree with most of that. However, I'm not sure that I'd give "No Exit" and "Houses of the Holy" too much credit. And calling "Everybody Loves a Clown" and "Roadkill" only average?! Blasphemy!!!

Loved the Jo elements in "No Exit", loved Dean questioning his faith (or lack thereof) in "Houses", the A-story in "Clown" was weak, and "Roadkill" didn't quite do it for me.
