Supernatural season 2

Best Buy, Wal-Mart and Target generally end up having it the cheapest to start out, but there's always a price hike after a week. Though Wal-Mart always has a tendency to stay in the lowest price range due to the fact, that they either overstock or understock.

I just have to say,I love this show alot.I was worried that it might be cut from the Cw.But i'am jazzed that it will be back. This whole season has been awsome.Glad I have the comic to fill the void.

I'm still riled that Sam's telekinesis has been ignored. I swear its inclusion in that particular episode wound up being a mistake that they later didn't want to follow through. There have been many desperate situations since were he might have activated his telekinesis.

I want to know what Mary Winchester knows about The Yellow-Eyed Demon. Maybe he's apart of a scary bed time story she was told as a child.

Yeah, that's going to be rather interesting. Maybe the question is answered in the comic.

I just got back from '1408' and the trailer for the film 'Captivity' was attached. I'm not one that is into films like Saw, Hostel, etc. But this trailer got my interest and made me really excited to see this film when it comes out.

The main reason- this movie seems to be about the infamous Murder Castle, or is directly inspired by the Murder Castle!!!

Yep, not just something made for scares- a slightly inspired by actual events type film... I'm sure they will stray, but the main concept of this guy's twisted mind and his murder castle probably remains intact- although not specifically stated.

Here is an except from that 'Inside the Legend':

The Murder Castle

The building was an imposing structure of three stories and a basement with false battlements and wooden bay windows that were covered with sheet iron. There were over 60 rooms in the structure and 51 doors that were cut oddly into various walls. And his favorite room- the basement with it’s dissection table and surgical tools and implements.

Holmes had an office on the second floor, but most of the rooms were to be used for the guests—guests that would never be seen again. There were secret hallways and closets connecting the seventy-one bedrooms. Holmes' Castle included soundproof sleeping chambers with peepholes, asbestos-padded walls, gas pipes, sliding walls, and vents that Holmes controlled from another room. Many of the rooms had low ceilings and trapdoors in the floors, with ladders leading to smaller rooms below. The doors could only be locked from the outside and all of his “prison rooms” were fitted with alarms that buzzed in Holmes’ quarters if a victim attempted to escape.

It has come to be believed that many of his victims were held captive months before their deaths. Evidence would later be found to show that Holmes used some of the rooms as “asphyxiation chambers,” where his victims were suffocated with gas. It was believed that Holmes placed his chosen victims into the special chambers into which he then pumped lethal gas, controlled from his own bedroom, and then watched them react. Apparently, he gained some fiendish pleasure from this activity. Sometimes he'd ignite the gas to incinerate them, or perhaps even place them on the "elasticity determinator," an elongated bed with straps, to see how far the human body could be stretched. When finished, he might have slid the corpses down the chutes into his cellar, where vats of acid and other chemicals awaited them.

'No Exit' Inside the Legend

Freaky stuff, huh? This guy, the real guy, still scares the crap out of me. It sounds like this film might be going straight back to that killer and his sick fetish for taking lives.

The trailer for the film reminded me so much of this story/place, that I thought I would hear the words 'Murder Castle' or the title would be 'Murder Castle.'

Check out the trailer for yourselves and tell me what you think. Inspired by the 'Murder Castle'? Or just a freaky coincidence that it seems to have ALOT in common with this dreadful and gruesome castle of death?

'Captivity' trailer

Although it doesn't look like the film will be about Mudgett or inspired by Mudgett. It does look to be directly inspired by his 'Murder Castle', which is the one aspect about this killer that still gives me nightmares.

Just thought I should let you guys know about this film and it's possible connection to the main guy and his "castle" that the season 2 episode ('No Exit') was about.

I like the hue on this one, and the image of the car at the bottom. I think it fits the season pretty darn well, too. The focus was much more on the brothers and their relationship, while Season 1 was far more "mystery of the week" heavy, which the cover kinda reflected.

I actually think I like this one better.

I believe it comes out September 11.

Pretty cool cover  Would've liked something a little darker/creepier though.

OMG How did I miss this thread?!!! Both seasons were REALLY good. The producers of the show say that this is only the beggining and that they have wayy more to show.

I hope they show more of Sam's telekinetic powers though.

The son thing might be alright. I've always seen Dean as a type of father figure, alot more than Sam. It seems like every kid they have come across gravitates towards Dean. The surprise twist at the end though will probably be that Dean is not the father, or at least that's what I would do. It would make him see what fatherhood is like, and perhaps consider it in the far off future, without him actually being a father. And give him something to live for, as the previous episode spoilers suggest.

I just don't like the idea of girls riding in the backseat of the Impala fighting alongside... could create unnecessary triangles and romance.

And if it is a "must" then Dean needs an actual girl, and by that I mean someone who can take care of herself and not be a damsel in distress.

Well one girl's married so that narrows that down. I'm betting Sam gets the girl though because Dean doesn't do upbeat. :p

Dean having a kid sounds awesome but it'll most likely be false like these things usually are.:csad: It'll be a fun ep though.

I'm fine if Dean has a kid. But, bottom line, I dont want the producers to be like, "Hey, lets make the kid a regular!!! He could go on his little adventures with Sam and Dean." NO NO NO. Dean is Scooby, Sam is Shaggy. The Freds and Velmas and Daphnes (other hunters) are fine for like four or five episodes a season, but the second Scrappy f***ing Doo steps foot in the mystery machine is the second I flip channels over to Grey's Anatomy.

Sounds like a great start to Season 3 thus far. Really looking forward to this go round.

Supernatural had a panel at the Comic Con, right? Any word on what went down there?

They did?! I dont remember reading anything...

They did (or do) have a panel. Jensen Ackles is there.
