:argh:

Seriously, though, even if they aren't playing the characters, I want SMG or Dushku in this.

I don't understand the appeal of those two. They're always cast in everything by fanboys.

I kind of hate to admit this, but I stopped following the show this season and it's a real shame because I really liked it, but it's been harder to follow since it got moved to Friday nights. What has happened in the past 5-6 episodes? The last thing I could remember is Castiel saying that Sam has no soul or something like that.

lol I remember when Dushku was cast (by fanboys) as The Black Cat in Spider-Man 2!

I don't get the obsession for SMG either (maybe because I am not a Buffy fan?), but I have seen her in The Grudge, Cruel Intentions, I Know What You Did Last Summer and of course, in those Scooby-Doo movies and I honestly think that she is NOT a very good actress nor that she is a knockout! She's way overrated imo...Besides, Supernatural had way hotter chicks than SMG & Eliza Dushku!;)

With the fan stuff aside heres some news:

Episode 12
“SUPERNATURAL” — (9:00-10:00 p.m. ET)
“Like A Virgin” (TV-14, LV) (HDTV)

DEATH RETURNS FOR A MEETING WITH DEAN — Dean (Jensen Ackles) and Bobby (Jim Beaver) anxiously wait for Sam (Jared Padalecki) to wake up to see if Death (guest star Julian Richings) was able to restore his soul without causing Sam to lose his mind. Meanwhile, Dean and Bobby investigate a disappearance of virgins and discover dragons are behind the kidnappings. Bobby sends Dean to a doctor who owns the only weapon in the world that can slay a dragon, but Dean must prove himself worthy enough to take it. Phil Sgriccia directed the episode written by Adam Glass (##612).

Episode 13
“SUPERNATURAL” — (9:00-10:00 p.m. ET)
“Unforgiven” (Content Rating TBD) (HDTV)

DEAN FINDS OUT ABOUT SAM’S LIFE WHEN HE HUNTED WITH SAMUEL — Sam (Jared Padalecki) starts to have flashbacks to a case he worked on with Samuel (guest star Mitch Pileggi) before he reconnected with Dean (Jensen Ackles). Sam receives a mysterious text with coordinates to a small town, so the brothers decide to investigate. Dean is surprised when the townspeople start telling him some of the things Sam did while he lived there. David Barrett directed the episode written by Andrew Dabb & Daniel Loflin (#613).

PLUS: Balthazar will return for several episodes and Episode 16, And Then There Were None will be a big episode with recurring characters.

I'm stopping after this season if Seasons 7 isn't just a rumor. If there is , it better be a prequel set in the 1870s.

I dont get why everyone is just assuming that a seventh season would be awful. The past six seasons have been pretty consistently great, even with a change of showrunners. It's not like there'll be some sort of lightswitch shift of "Oh we got a seventh season, lets just stop trying."

Who else is there to fight for Sam and Dean if there's a 7th season ?

Who else is there...... but God Himself? :wow:

Yea where the f**k is the loyalty??? Ive thought this season has been solid and it seems like its gonna get pretty damn good

i think this is the only show in history where i've ever seen it's fans DEMAND the show to end...

i'm enjoying it, and as long as they keep churning out good writting, ill be along for the ride. Every time buffy fought a "big bad of the season" people didnt go "o man, just end the show, nothing can out do that" ... as long as there's always evil, the brothers winchester will have something to fight.

I'd have to believe Smallville has something to do with it - it's been dragged on so long that quality suffered, and most Supernatural fans fear a similar fate.

Plus Kripke made it awkward by saying 'we have a five year story' for so long. Effectively admits that everything after that is shooting from the hip.

But seriously! Who cares???? You still have the 5 seasons. Its not like continueing the show compromises the quality or integrity of those first 5 seasons

No, but if a series tanks its still painful dedicated fans. That's the fear. They like the show too much to leave before it ends, so they're forced to bear with a potential train wreck.

Me... Idk. I know my interest in the show as certainly waned this year. Dunno if I'd stick around for a seventh.

The boys go Old Wild West!
Here's a 'Supernatural' exclusive for you: The Winchesters will be visiting the Old West this season.

"You may see the guys in Stetsons. You may see Jared [Padalecki] on horseback. It could happen," Gamble said. "I've already talked to Jensen [Ackles] about it, he's excited about it and I think the guys are going to have a lot of fun with it."

"We've always wanted to do one," she added. "Supernatural is a Western. We've always wanted to find a way to get Sam and Dean into the Old West, at least for part of an episode, and the main obstacle was always how to do it produceably."

Fans who've hoped to see the Winchesters out West "should write a love letter to [executive producer Robert Singer] and to Jim Michaels, our line producer, and to Diane [Widas], who handles our costumes. Just to be able to do something like that on the kind of moderate television budget that we have, it's a testament to their craftiness," Gamble noted. The episode, which will probably be the eighteenth of the season, is being penned by 'Supernatural' writers Andrew Dabb and Daniel Loflin.

Gamble calls another upcoming outing "the craziest meta episode of all time." Yes, 'Supernatural' will go mega-meta in an episode called 'The French Mistake,' which airs Feb. 18 (the title of the episode will be familiar to fans of the classic comedy 'Blazing Saddles').

"We have an episode in which Sam and Dean find themselves in essentially ... to shorthand it, we'll call it a parallel world," Gamble explained. In the world in which they find themselves, "there is no magic, there is a television show called 'Supernatural' and everyone seems convinced that they are actors named Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles."

"It appears that there are actors having a psychotic break on a set and the producers don't know what to do, basically," she noted. "The dailies are fall-on-the-floor hilarious. The guys are so funny in this episode. And, you know, meta is not to everyone's taste, but I enjoy a nice slice of meta."
