SUPERNATURAL Season 8! - Part 1

Quick question gang. Has Sam and Dean ever killed any regular humans ? I'm having a debate with a guy on FB, Because I said they would kill the Governor if they were in the WD universe, but he says no, because they don't kill humans. Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't they kill the Redneck family, the Benders in season one ?

I don't recall the Benders getting arrested, so I'm pretty sure they were killed. I can't remember if they killed them or the cop woman did though. Why would they kill a random governor though?

Everytime they kill a demon, they're killing a human. Frankly, that's probably even worse than killing the Governor. But yeah, they'd kill him and I think they shot members of that family, but in self defense.

The Governor in the walking dead is a mass murdering psychotic monster so yeah they would waste that POS.

They killed the two feral children in the other human bad guys episode beside the Benders.

I still watch this show but I wish it would go back to it's scarier routes. That and the arguing between Sam and Dean seems old. I mean they've both been to hell in back. The last person they should be beefing with is each other.
I agree with the scarier moments and I also want the Dean funny moments back (to be honest the latter has happened several times this season ,I like that!).

Yeah, this is what I brought back some pages ago haha, what happened to exorcisms?

Conclusion : If ya mess with them, they kill ya! lolz

They put in a line way back in season three about every exorcism of a long term possession they've done (as in, longer than the ones that Hunters generally dealt with before Azazel opened up the Devil's Gate in season two) ended with the human dying anyway due to the stress being possessed that long put on their bodies. Presumably the possessions before Devil's Gate weren't as long term or drastic. It was a pretty basic way to justify a more actiony hack and slash approach to demons since they became one of the most frequent monsters at that point, but it was there.

Speaking of killing humans...do you know what I'd really like to see? Sam and Dean running into someone who's been using monsters as his own slaves. Like the brothers run into a huge farmhouse where someone's using monsters as labor and has to help the monsters against such a SOB.

That would be kinda like the Hollywood episode where the guy summons dead spirits and makes them kill for him. In the end the spell is broken and the ghosts turn on him.

Kinda, but not really. I think it could be a very freaky episode that goes up there with "The Benders" and "Family Remains" of being one of those "odd" cases.

Episode 19 Taxi Driver description:

SAM AND DEAN FACE THE SECOND TRIAL — Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) respond to a call from Kevin (guest star Osric Chau), who is terrified after hearing Crowley’s (guest star Mark Sheppard) voice in his head. After hearing Kevin’s news, Sam and Dean team up with reaper named Ajay (guest star Assaf Cohen), who helps them deal with the second trial from the Tablet. Meanwhile, Dean receives a visit from Naomi (guest star Amanda Tapping) and realizes he must find Benny (guest star Ty Olsson) and ask for a huge favor. Guy Bee directed the episode written by Eugenie Ross-Leming & Brad Buckner (#819).

Glad they're tying Benny into the main arc. Wonder how he fits though.

And I just a preview for "Goodbye Stranger". I love that shady Naomi ***** I swear I do. And Cas is kind of acting like his old self. Carver is really whipping this show back into shape.

Ok I know I'm late to the game (been watching the show on Netflix) but I just finished 5.8, "Changing Channels" I think it's called, and oh my God that was the funniest freaking thing I've ever seen :lmao:

That is one of my favourite episodes, it's silly fun, until you get down to the twisted message of it all.

i love the meta episodes.

I liked the message, and yes it IS twisted. I liked the whole Gabriel reveal, and at the end of it all I thought back to the other Trickster episodes and his motivations really made sense for me. I know I haven't seen the last of him, but he's one of my favorite recurring characters on the show.

It's funny, whenever there's a Trickster episode Jensen Ackles is just plain hysterical. Like I said I'm late to the game so I'm just babbling my thoughts on the series as I've watched it thus far.

Dean is definitely my favorite character, he's well-rounded and Ackles just OWNS the role. It's one of the reasons (this and Batman: Under the Red Hood -- dude, again, OWNS as Red Hood/Jason Todd :wow: ) I want Ackles to jump beyond TV and try his hand at movies, I think he would make an awesome Green Lantern in the Justice League movie, personally. He's more of a "Hal Jordan" than Ryan Reynolds ever was and he's unknown enough for WB to work with. Who knows, Ackles could OWN GL and we'd have a total other badass film series!

I honestly hate Sam. Not Jared Padalecki, but Sam the character. He's just too messed up with the choices he's made, idk, but there's a definite reason for the Michael/Lucifer dichotomy in the Winchester brothers. Sam's good when he cares about other people though, I think he's definitely the heart of the show.

And dammit to hell if I don't say I want more Jeffrey Dean Morgan as John Winchester. There NEEDS to be a prequel series about him, man, that's something I'd love to see. Again, I'm not a full-on "fan" yet so I have zero clue about spinoff talks :hehe:

Honestly I thought they could've held off on the demon/angel/apocalypse storylines for at least two seasons. I loved the "anthology" structure of the first season, it's one of the reasons I locked into the show in the first place. I wanted to see more interpretations of more supernatural beings and creatures. I think that worked great for the show.

But within the angel/demon/apocalypse storyline I grew to really like Castiel. The dude who plays him, Misha Collins, like Ackles just OWNS his role. I don't know the name of the actor () who plays Bobby, but he is a really enjoyable character on the show.

Basically there's nothing I don't DISlike about Supernatural. I get where the chicks go crazy with it, but damn it if it's not good TV. in my book.

Three more reasons: Alona Tal as Jo Harvelle, Lauren Cohan as Bela Talbot, and Katie Cassidy as Ruby. But Lauren Cohan, just yowza :wow: :hehe:

That's like... a triple negative. Don't do it again. :argh:

Now it makes sense lol. For some reason I thought the question was -- would they kill an actual governor in the seat right now in real life.

Lol have you not watched walking dead?

Nope. I just thought there was a grudge over something political a mayor said that the Winchesters would kill him for lol. Come to think of it, I'd love to see more bizarro Winchester brothers lol.

I would love to see the Winchesters in the Walking Dead universe. Everyone scared, moping, and crying while Dean is ecstatic at getting to kill zombies.:D

Dean : Why the hell is everybody so damn depressed.

Sam : Dean, these people are scared.

Dean : Of what ? a couple of rotten geeks ? Is that why we're all hiding out in Oz with Andy Griffith, and the Deliverance Brothers ? Not to mention that b**ch Bella.

Maggie : My name is Maggie Greene !!

Rick : We've seen some stuff. Been through some Thangs.

A Dean Winchester/ Darryl Dixon team up would be pretty sweet though.
