World Supes II: Donner cut should've got a big screen treatment?

Yeah, I totally agree, I would have loved to have seen it in the cinema. But who cares? Atleast they are releasing it, and I can't wait.

I saw Superman 2 (what do we call it now...the standard cut?)on the big screen a year or two ago.It was awesome.Like a football match.People cheering and making funny calls.Strictly for fans only,if you had not seen the movie you'd be pissed.Too much fun.

But,yeah,they should do it for this one.

Then Superman: The movie wouldn't have made sense, seeing as he spins the world back at the end of the Donner cut.

They would have to give Superman The movie a new ending. What do you think that would be?

Actually Donner's Superman 2 would have had a different ending. Donner and Mankelweitcz said that they would have made a new ending and got rid of the turning back time for Superman 2. That was shot and changed for STM shortly before STM's release. So we would have had a totally different ending.

Well I actually liked Superman Returns, but yeah, I'd definitely go to see the Donner cut if it were shown in the cinema.

OMG YES! That reason alone is worth them doing it!
To be able to see Chris Reeve as Superman on the big screen again would be a special thing!

Superman II: The Donner Cut could have help the studio recoup the monies from all those Superman mishaps including Singerman.

Don't worry, once you've seen it a couple of times you get used to the look of it, infact some of the special effects look great, considering.

What with the Donner cut having to include some of Reeve and Kidder's screen tests to pad out the film the average Joe Schmoe might get confused.
