Pickles was the final eliminated player on Day 17. You played a great game and you obviously picked the right people for an alliance. However you were seen as a major threat and were removed from the game because of it. It only took one vote, but it was enough. With that we have our final Grid.

The power has now shifted to the jury. Each jury member had an opportunity to pose a direct question to each finalist. As well, each finalist had the opportunity to make a statement on the reasons on why they should win this Survivor.
Feel free to use this thread to talk about the game, each other, and ask additional questions to the Finalists.
Once the results have been posted, each Jury member will receive a pm asking them, not who they want to eliminate but, who they want to win Survivormania XXVII. Both finalists want to see their name for each Jury vote. The finalist with the majority of votes will be declared the winner.
Good luck to both finalists, and let the games begin.
EDIT: Here are each finalists' closing remarks and Q&A.
Colossal Spoons (Final Statement)
I think I should win this Survivor game b/c it'd be a cool thing to add to my Hype resume which consists of nothing right now actually
. This was a fun game, played mostly with friends, and I'd have been honored to make it to the finals with most of you so toss your boy Spoons a bone and vote for me. I've got no sob story about how important this game is to me or how badly I need to win, I'd just really like to. So vote accordingly people.

Colossal Spoons (Q&A)
Juror Question 1
CC and Spider-Fan b/c they did the most amount of wheelin' and dealin' in this game. I got to the finals with a minimal amount of scheming or "promising" but if this game were based on effort alone, then those 2 because they def put in crazy amounts of work. It would have been awesome to see Spec make it to the Final 2 just because that dude came back after being voted off and destroyed a lot of challenges.
Juror Question 2
Colossus. Big, strong, capable of bustin' skulls, but would rather handle things via diplomacy. I can relate.
Juror Question 3
I was sad to see Spec go but was pretty happy to see Movies gone.
Juror Question 4
1 I think
Juror Question 5
ATP's vote-off b/c JH could have gone either way. I would have been fine w/ it but there was a lot of anticipation.
Fav challenge was the battleship type game we played, least fav was the hair challenge.
JewHob is a loyal S.O.B. so trust was never a question with him. Hope he feels the same way about me. BFFs
Juror Question 6
I shouldn't win b/c I didn't lie a lot(most of my lies were ones of omission) and most Survivor winners are liers and cheaters who backstab everybody they come across. I did none of that and if I were to win, I'd be breaking tradition.
Juror Question 7
I'm sure it does seem that way and I'm glad. Survivor is a game of perception so if it looks like I let JH make most of the decisions, then that's how I wanted it to look. JH was one of the bigger strategists in the game and I knew that if I wanted to get far, I'd either have to start plotting and scheming myself of throw in my lot with somebody who was already doing that. A lot of times JH would ask who we'd be voting for in a certain vote-off and I'd be the one to suggest the target. There were maybe 2 times where he convinced me to alter my vote.
My "betrayal" of CC was done simply to better my chances later on in the game. There was nobody else I could have voted for and I kept our alliance for as long as humanly possible. Voting of CC and bullets made me feel the worst but my hands were tied.
I don't like birds, Chase!
Both of you played some pretty honest games, and I don't have beef with either of you at all, and pretty much anyone who does clearly has nothing but a dose of sour grapes.
Anyway, for my question, it's the same to both of you: Who else do you believe deserves to be in the top 2 and/or win this game besides either of you and why? Be honest but not butt-kissy.

Juror Question 2
Who is your favorite X-Men character and why?
Juror Question 3
I would like to know about one person they were genuinely pissed about loosing, and one person they were happy to see go.
Juror Question 4
How many challenges did you win?
Juror Question 5
which vote-off in the game surprised you most?
fave challenge? least fave challenge?
what was the best part about allying with jewhob?

Juror Question 6
Why SHOULDN'T you win Survivor?
Juror Question 7
Why do you think you deserve to win? It seems that you let JewHob make most of the decisions and it is JewHob that picked you to be in the final 2. So, what did you do to get you where you are?
Why did you betray CC?
What is the aspeed velocity of an unlaiden swallow?

JewishHobbit (Final Statement)
Okay, now
why I think I should in this Survivor.
I wont belittle Spoons in any way because I think hes played a great game however, I think I played a harder and more dangerous game. I came in a day later than everyone else and was inactive for only 1 challenge. There really wasnt much strategy to be spoken by anyone before that point other than to cement alliances, and so when I came in, alliances were already set and I was alone and an obvious target. I managed, however, to weasel my way into the alliances of the 2 biggest players in the game and I used that to my advantage to keep myself safe while building more alliances for further use later in the game.
I never once floated in the game, as every week I played hard and pulled strings. While some of you may look back and see no signs of this, others will vouch that I was involved in the majority of send offs in one way or another. At times I simply allowed the votes to go how they would for the sake of it falling how I wanted, other times I would talk people into or out of voting a certain way because I knew how other votes were going to fall. On MANY occasions I suggested the target and allowed SF or CC to pursue the other votes to keep my name clean. For the majority of the game the task was to keep all focus off of me and to remain a quiet player while using others to do what I needed. The unfortunate thing is that this type of game play is seldom recognizable and people believe that Im talking crap now that I made it this far, but Spoons, Pickles, Bamf, Spider-Fan, and probably CC (if shes realized it) will be able to vouch that this has been the case all along.
The biggest example of this was probably when I saved CC from elimination by way of SFs Idol. I worked for nearly 3 hours that night talking to everyone, trying to direct votes every which way so that the votes would be split in the exact way so that CC would have the least votes, the person SF planned to save would have the middle votes, and the person I wanted to send home had the highest votes. And in the end, it all worked out (and I think scared Squirrel half to death
) That was probably the hardest faught night of the season, as not everyone wanted to do what I was asking, but fortunately, it ended up okay and CC was safe and I still managed to swing votes in a way that covered my butt and led SF to believe CC and Squirrel had got one over on him. A big thanks to Spoons, Pickles, and Bamf for helping me pull that one off
Though it took a lot of convincing for Bamf to not vote CC
The process of my game was dangerous because at any given moment if SF or CC realized that I was playing them, my entire game would have been shot. I would have been counted untrustworthy and most likely would have been eliminated quickly. But I managed to keep up the rouse (which eventually turned genuine when I came to like both sides) the entire game and I dont believe ever aroused suspicion. This was a very chancy play, and it paid off.
And besides taking chances, I also remained true to my word to every single person in this game and never broken a single promise. I made an ally of SF and CC early but never broken a promise to either of them. I promised CC a final 5 alliance along with Spoons, Pickles, and Bamf and I fulfilled that, not voting her out until it came down to us 5 (due to Specter winning the challenge). I promised to keep Bamf in the game as long as I possibly could for having turned on him in a previous game and I accomplished this longer than even he expected. Once we hit final 5 I promised Spoons and Pickles a final 3 deal, and there we were in the final 3. When someone came to me with an alliance proposal that I knew I couldnt keep, I was honest with them such as with Chase and Specter. And if something happened where I had to choose between alliances, I was honest with them as well, such as with Squirrel. CC was the only one I didnt tell before hand because there was a chance she could have turned it around on me still, so it was best for my game not to strictly strategy.
And now lastly, I want to address Walrus and Watson. Theres not much to say to you because of everyone in the jury you were the two who I had no chance at all to get to know, and by the time we were able to actually play together my plans and alliances had already been set and I didnt want to make promises to you that I knew Id break quickly, and so I simply stayed away. It wasnt anything personal and I simply ask for your vote based on my game play. Thanks.
So all in all, why do I deserve to win? I deserve it because I played a Risky game, a Loyal game, and an Honorable game. No broken promises. Very few lies, and only as necessary. And the hardest played game of my Survivor career.
So uh, yeah .

This ones easy
Id say Pickles. Others could potentially be here, but she was an equal to Spoons and I once we forged our final 5 alliance. She played hard every week, was a strong ally, and probably made more connections in the Jury than Spoons or I once the time came for it. I wouldnt be here if not for her being such a great alliance and friend.
And runners up Comic Chick and Specter. Honestly, Id have probably picked Specter over Pickles if he hadnt already been eliminated once already. His run of challenge wins toward the end impressed me greatly. And CC was just good, and also a good ally for the majority of the game.

Hoo! This is my kind of question! Unfortunately, its tough because it changes regularly.
Ive always been a fan of the underdog so most times the bigger names arent going to be IT for me. Examples of previous favorites are Maggott, Lifeguard, Paulie Provenzano, Beast, and Xorn (Morrisons). And Chamber has been my favorite for the longest time (LOVE Generation X characters!), but only over the past couple weeks has this changed to an older favorite, breaking my normal underdog picks.
As of the end of Utopia, Cyclops is once again my favorite X-Man. I used to LOVE him back when I first started collected X-Men, and though he had a lot of potential, it just never showed itself. Others came along to take his place and I even grew to dislike him once Morrison made him a cheater and then he went all edgy since Messiah Complex. But somehow, the Utopia storyline really brought him back to the hero he truly is but also showed his amazing leadership and strategic mind. The way he utilized the large quantity of X-Men to pretty much embarrass the Dark X-Men and Dark Avengers. When Cyclops smiled at Osborne with the X-Men lined up behind him, all of Osbornes crew down and out that made me a fan once again. Its like hes finally become the Cyclops Ive always wanted him to be. In my opinion, hes officially entered Captain America/Reed Richards level of leadership now. Now heres hoping current and future writers continue this and the rest of the Marvel Universe take note.

There was honestly not one single person that I was upset on seeing go. Ill explain in a later answer but I had input on the majority of evictions and had some control over most of them as they came, so none were a surprise and most was how I wanted them to fall.
I will say that the hardest eviction for me to see was a tie between Spider-Fan and Comic Chick. Despite the game, I grew to really like them both and it was sad to continue the game without their participation.
Id say the person I was happiest to see go was most likely Movies. I had my hand in a lot of things and grew familiar with how most people played and who most was with, but Movies was a complete mystery to me. I had no idea where he was and he made my predicting votes and scenarios very difficult, so his leaving really helped me have a better idea of how to plan ahead. Nothing personal against him, it was just best for my gameplay.
Juror #4
1! Id like to say it was strategic that way but truth be told, I just suck at challenges. But hey, it was the most important one so Im cool with my 1 win.
I will say this though I KNOW that Im not the best at challenges and thats why I plan for it when I play. I ally myself with people who A) are good allies, and B) who can win challenges for when I/we need them won. CC is a great example of that in this game.
Juror #5
I cant really say any really surprised me, but Id say the first was the one I was most worried about. When I first came into the game I didnt know if I had solidified myself with CC enough to actually make it past the first eviction, but when Kal went home as was discussed I let a long breath go.
Favorite challenges was by far the wrestling 4-way match between Spoons, Pickles, Specter and I. That was just a creative challenge that I had a lot of fun with. Id have loved to seen it with a larger cast but it would have been a nightmare for the hosts.
Least favorite Off the top of my head Id say my least favorite was the one where we had to convince people to wear our team avatar once they come into our thread. I didnt really have much to add to that challenge and I really didnt care for it.
We arent given the names of who asked the questions but reveal yourself in the thread and Ill answer for you.
Absolute trust. Its really hard to find an ally in this game with whom you KNOW will not stab you in the back, and you KNOW will work with your best interests at heart. I knew that Spoons had my back the whole time and that I could count on him, even when the calls get tough.
Juror #6
Because Ive lied throughout the entire game
Im not really Jewish
sorry guys
Nah I think Ive played the best game of my Survivor history, so its hard to really find a reason for me NOT to win. If I had to say anything Id say its because I came into the game late, but that was only the end of week 1. So all I missed was the initial challenge that would have gotten me into the game (and I hear that wasnt all that difficult) and week 1. However, I spent the entirety of week 1 coming up with the Unknown, so I was still active, just not playing the challenge. And coming in as the masked man also put me at a difficult situation of not having alliances and having no ones trust, having to build from that was difficult, and having done it and still making it to the end is still a testament of my game.
Juror #7
Ill start with the last question
The biggest lie Ive told was at the very beginning but I think its also why Im here today. I know in these games that when they start there are always rivals so I searched them out and quickly found CC and Spider-Fan. I came to CC and formed an alliance with her and then told her that Id infiltrate SF for our benefit. I then went to SF and formed an alliance and told him Id infiltrate CC for our benefit. I then strived through the rest of the game trying to build their trust and sharing just enough information between them to keep me safe, to sway votes and targets, and to protect my allies.
What I didnt expect was to really grow to like them both, and so I decided to honor both alliances by trying to protect each of them from each other (such as with saving CC from SFs Idol plan which SF has since learned about) and turning their targets on others whom I had no connection with. I continued to feed the idea of them being the heads of the game so that people would continue choosing sides, but as long as I kept them both in the game and I remained safely in the middle, I knew where most votes were going and could sway the outcome of each tribal council in one way or the other. Having Spoons, Pickles, and Bamf working with me once I explained to them my game plan was icing on the cake, and honestly the 5 of them became great allies for me.
Sadly, I knew either CC or SF had to go before the merge or itd be bad for me, so I let things go naturally for one week and SF was the one to lose. I didnt want to choose between them and this way I didnt have to and SF left the game without my being involved and remaining true to him.
So yeah, that was the biggest lie I told that I was infiltrating them both.
Sadly, Ive never heard of The Venture Brothers
and Im going to guess the answer to the other question is
. 2.3452243455643. Now, maybe Id know the real answer if I knew what unlaiden meant
Who else do you believe deserves to be in the top 2 and/or win this game besides either of you and why? Be honest but not butt-kissy.
And runners up Comic Chick and Specter. Honestly, Id have probably picked Specter over Pickles if he hadnt already been eliminated once already. His run of challenge wins toward the end impressed me greatly. And CC was just good, and also a good ally for the majority of the game.
