I don't watch these reality talent shows, but that brought a huge smile to my face. I've been passing this around to some friends, so I thought I'd post it here too. She certainly showed them.

She was very good, but back when I used to watch shows like these I secretly resented these sorts of competitors because they sucked all the drama out of the competition. It's almost guaranteed she's going to win.

sadly, that's probably why she's never had a chance in the business. lady is talented and she's sweet so i really want her to do well in the competition

She must have sold it by now for a sandwich. Piers looked like he had fallen in love with the woman. Amazing voice, read that she is already talking to Simon's label.

Pavarotti was beastly yet he did well for himself, hopefully she does too.

that was beautiful. and for the record... women have the luxury of makeup... i'm sure if she had a great make over, you'd hardly recognize her. She might not be a Hollywood Bombshell, but she's certainly be dolled up enough to be wonderful to see live at an opera or something.

To be honest, and from a purely technical standpoint, she was rather bland. Nothing terribly unique, and her vibrato is all over the place. Makes her sound like a sheep.

to be fair, you also weren't there, and are also watching it on youtube which is horrible quality.

I've got to say she's ultra talented and really showed everybody despite the fact she doesn't look like a cover model. She's proof positive that beauty comes from within. I'd actually love to meet her.

That video is so nice though. Even if she's not ''perfect'' the part I loved was how much they were all mocking her in the beginning and then everyone was standing and cheering

I can properly critique a voice, yes. Wouldn't call myself a professional. Never said I was.

But, that is obviously not the point of the video. They treated he like crap, and she proved them all wrong.

I was only just saying that, after hearing all the praises before hand, and then watching the video myself, I was slightly let down as her voice is not as fantastic as some made it out to be.

I love Simon's reaction. Just before she starts singing, he's sitting there resting his head in his hand, eyes half-closed with that "god, just let this be over quick" look on his face.

Then BAM! Eyebrows raised with a dumbfounded look on his face. Then he has the nerve to say "I knew the minute you walked out on that stage that we were gonna hear something extraordinary." Lying bastard.
