Sylar in episode 11

So i just watched episode 11 again and i got a question. Exactly how did Sylar escape from his cell? HRG clearly said his powers wouldnt work while he was in there yet he uses his telekinetic ability to break the glass (courtesy of Eden´s head) How is that possible?

ge must have figured out how the place worked, found one chink in its mechanics and exploited it

Yeah but he shouldnt be able to use his ability to understand how things work in the first place. That cell nuetralizes his ability´s.

maybe they were wrong

they just under estimated him

i mean they thought eden telling him to sleep would work , yet they didn't the haitian to knock him out with chroloform(sp???)

well its like in Mohinder's apartment when the chemical was hooked up to him that should have numbed his brain and rendered his abilities useless
Yet he managed to use his telekinesis to shut off the flow of the chemical
I think theres more to powers then brain function there must be otherwise theres something wierd happening with Sylar's brain
